“I control it.”
“Baby, come on. How am I supposed to dance with you playing with me?”
“You will, and then you’ll be rewarded. Are you ready?”
“No.” Kailey laughs while trying to calm down her breathing.
“Wait, I almost forgot.” I reach down into the bag and grab the smallest gift, handing it over to her. “Vibrating nipple rings.”
Her mouth drops. “No way! I’ve always wanted to try these.” She slides the straps of her teddy down, replacing her rings with the new vibrating barbells.
“Show time, Kailey.”
“Na Na” by Trey Songz starts to play through the speakers, the bass matching the lights around the stage.
“Be gentle.” She points at the remote in my hand.
“Never.”
I let her make it to the stage and twirl around the pole a few times before I press the button. Her body tenses, but she doesn’t want to give up. She’s stubborn; she can’t let me win, not like this.
When her body glides across the floor, I turn up the vibration. A moan breaks free from that beautiful mouth, but her movements never stop.
More, she mouths to me. I may be holding the remote, but on that stage, she has power over me, and she knows it. It’s freeing; her mind can just be here. That’s what she needed tonight, and I’ll give her whatever she needs for the rest of our lives together.
I sit in the only seat that’s directly in front of the stage, sprawling my legs out, resisting the urge I have to fuck her right here, right now. She wraps her body around the pole upside down, slowly lowering herself. She raises herself back up from the floor, then lowers herself down again, grinding against the pole. I turn the vibration up to the highest setting.
“God damn!” Kailey cries out, slapping her hand against the stage.
“No. Not God, baby.Me. Are you ready to give up? I can take it out and feast on you right now.”
She straightens her body on wobbly legs. “No, not yet. You’re getting a show. One that’ll have you dripping in those jeans.”
Kailey, it’s already happening.
CHAPTER 73
KC
Jared finished his cage fighting contract this past week. We decided to buy a house in Chicago, and also keep the one he has back home. We’ll split our time between both places. Jared and I came back home this weekend, surprising my parents, and they couldn’t have been happier. I realized that I’ve already lost so much time with my Mom and Dad and don’t want to waste any more.
Jared’s home in the country is even more beautiful than I remember, and he continues to tell me it’sourhome. He put up that porch swing I had mentioned, and filled the pond, planting a sunflower pasture in its place. I wasn’t sure if I could handle coming back here, to the place where my life had changed, but seeing a field full of sunflowers made me realize I was meant to live here with Jared. Beth would want me to be happy. She told me so herself. I miss her every day, and will always keep her memory alive.
Today, I’m surprising Jared. We stopped by the storage unit and pulled out my Camaro. He was surprised that I had kept it.How could I ever give this beauty up? The T-tops are off and the stereo is blasting “The Hills” by The Weeknd.
“Where are you taking us, Dimples?” Jared squeezes my hand.
I pull down my sunglasses to the tip of my nose and give him a quick glance. “It wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you, now would it?”
“Fair point. Can I at least have a hint?”
“Sure. It’s something you once told me you wish you had. I’m making that wish come true today.”
“I’ve already got what I want most—you.”
“Yep.” I end the conversation by turning the music up.
I turn off of the highway, making my way through the small town. It’s been a little over five years since I’ve been out this way. Pulling into the parking lot of Let It Bloom—the same place Beth had taken me—I park right in front of their entrance.
