She kept squeezing and releasing me, like her body couldn’t make sense of mine. Pure male pride rolled through me. I was thick. The thickest of the pack, so far as I knew. Her body wasn’t used to me yet, but it would be. She was fucking made for us.

“Trinity?”

Her eyes opened slowly.

“Give me a color, please.”

“It’s like a… does the darker green make it better? I’m the darkest green. Forest green. Green so dark you think it’s black. Green that…” she drifted off. “So, so green.”

“I’m glad.”

A knock on the door, which was slightly ajar.

“Come in.”

Logan stood there, taking in the situation. “Fuck, that’s a beautiful sight.”

I smirked. “I’ll show you the picture I took later.”

He came over and lowered himself by Trinity. “Came to see what you like for breakfast.”

She blinked a couple of times. “Isn’t it evening?”

“For tomorrow.”

“I like almost everything.” Slow breaths. She was melting fast now. “But protein is good in the morning. Diabetes.”

“Eggs?”

“Great. Cheesy ones.”

Logan glanced at me, and I gestured with my head toward her legs. I couldn’t release her fully while I was still knotted in her, but I wanted to get her out of this position. It was hot as fuck, but it was hard on the body. He didn’t hesitate to start undoing her restraints.

Before he left, he leaned down and kissed her. “See you tomorrow, wildfire.”

“Mmkay.”

He laughed silently. “You good?” He mouthed.

I nodded. “Thank you.”

The footboard lifted easily. This I could manage. “I’m going to move you now. Your body might be achy.”

No resistance as I got us both to the head of the bed and under a throw blanket. Omegas needed warmth.

“Want to talk about anything?” I asked.

“No,” she mumbled into my chest. “It was great. Everything was great. Great.”

I smiled into her hair. She was still down deep. I’d check in again tomorrow. For now, I would hold my Omega while she slept, and beg the universe that I would be able to do this forever.

CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

_____________

TRINITY

My eyes were heavy when they finally tried to open. The kind of sleep where you go down so deep your brain doesn’t remember what it’s like to be alive. My body ached softly. Not in a bad way. More like if I overdid it at the gym. Which was… most of the time, if I was being honest.
