My Omega was here.
It felt like a miracle and something meant to be all at once.
She was so bright in the space compared to how we had it decorated that I already knew we would be changing things up. We’d gone for sleek and dark when we moved in. Now it felttoodark. I wanted this place to feel as much like Trinity as it felt like us.
Hell, if she told me she hated this apartment, I’d start looking for a new place tomorrow.
Because she was ours, even if she didn’t know it yet.
It had never occurred to us that she thought we wouldn’t want her, because she was already everything to us.
Brooks pulled her down the hallway toward our rooms, Bastian following. I pulled Theo back. “Remember what she said in aftercare?”
“About?”
I kept my voice low as we followed them. “About always wanting it.”
He glanced at me in question.
“We stopped looking for an Omega because we never thought we’d find one who matched all our interests and needs. But she’s ours. So do we make her ours in that way too?”
As in, a power dynamic.
No one really knew what drew packs together. It was part instinct, part DNA, partsoul. Some packs never knew why they were drawn together. With others, like ours, you could easily see the connection. It wasn’t the only reason—no single thing was—but we were all kinky as fuck.
So finding an Omega who was ours? Who also wanted everything kinky? A dream come true.
Theo still stared at me like he was processing all the same thoughts. “Fuck,” he breathed. “Do you think she’ll want that?”
“All we can do is ask, and that question is better sooner rather than later. My gut says the answer is yes. And if she does say yes, we have to tell her.”
I didn’t need to specify what.
Theo nodded. “You’re right.”
“You have the list?”
“Yeah. I’ll print a copy. And I’ll ask the others.”
Brooks and Bastian were finished with the whirlwind tour of our rooms and were about to take her into the section of the apartment that wasn’t occupied. We had a few rooms that weren’t being used, simply because we hadn’t figured out what to do with them.
There was also a nest. A lovely little jewel box of a room, ready to be customized to whatever the Omega needed.
“You can have whichever one you like,” Brooks said. “But this is the room closest to the nest and it has a bathroom that connects the two.”
Walking through her violet scent was perfection. It wouldn’t be good enough until this entire place was soaked with it.
She took in the space with wide eyes. It was a large bedroom with big windows along one side, lined with a long bench seat, along with a walk-in closet. The connecting bathroom was a good size. It suited her.
“I think this room is the size of my apartment,” she said. “Like not completely, but this is probably my kitchen and living room put together.”
“All the more reason to stay,” I said with a grin.
“Dad and Liz will know if I move in here and am also with you. There’s no way they won’t.”
“So?”
She looked over at Bastian. He shrugged.
