Ransom’s right. It’s perfect.
As she pulls me down the hall, giggling, in the same white dress she wore the day she adopted Mia, I nearly fall to my knees in gratitude. When I held that picture of her all those months ago, I didn’t imagine I’d end up here. With my ring on her finger, her heart in my hands.
We fall into our suite, all hungry mouths, and searching hands. I can’t get enough of her. “Thank you, Evie.” I breathe against her lips as my hands run under her dress and hook her panties.
“You’re welcome,” she says, dazed. “What for?”
“For giving me a chance. For saying yes, over and over, when I know it would have been so much safer to say no. Thank you for bringing me to life.”
A tear runs down her cheek. I rub it away, but it’s followed by another. Then another.
“I don’t know what I did to deserve you,” she says, sniffing, “but I swear I’ll never take you for granted. Thank you for not giving up on me.”
“Never. I swear I’ll always be your fucking cheerleader. I promise I’ll believe in you even when you don’t. I’ll even wear the little outfit if that’s your kink.” I say, making her giggle.
Sliding my hands over her now bare ass, my focus shifts to sexy times. “Hey baby, ever since I saw that picture of you wearing this dress, I’ve wanted to do something.”
Her eyes are fuzzy again. I fucking love how responsive she is. With just a touch, I know she’ll be fucking dripping for me.
“Anything,” she breathes.
Scooping her up, I run to the bedroom, falling back on the bed. “Climb on up here,” I say, patting my chest. “I want you to sit on my face so I can make you scream.”
Bless my wife, she follows directions so well.
