CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT
JAYDEN
––––––––
Afucking Ferrari.
Of course, she’s dating a guy with a luxury vehicle and teeth brighter than the goddam moon.Where do people even get their teeth cleaned that white? The chemicals will probably dissolve them in ten years, and she’ll be married to some toothless dick with a car that costs an arm and a leg to fix.
I’m triggered.
Bite me.
When I saw her climb into his car earlier tonight, I followed. An hour into the meal, as I watched them from across the road, I saw Noah put his phone to his ear and my own ring.
“You going to stay over there all night.”He asked.
“Yup.”
“Okay.Just checking.”
I hung up.
Now I’ve parked my car and wandered over to the BHS guard after following them home.Noah is leaning against his SUV with a pair of sunglasses on.
“It’s night.”
“Thank you, Einstein.”Noah replies.
I shake my head.“Who is he?”
“Her date.”
“Clearly. But who is he?”I grind out.
“I’m not at liberty to say.”Noah smirks, and I wanted to punch him.
“Fine.”I grit my teeth as her date leans in, but Tiffany gives him her cheek.I shove my hands into my jacket pocket as a flicker of hope sparks.
“You finally here to do what’s right?”Noah asks.
“What are you, her father?”
“I mean, we’re friends.Does that count?”He chuckles.
“You arenotfriends with Steven Stallone.”I shake my head and watch Ferrari guy drive away, looking disappointed.
Did they have a fight? Are they dating seriously?
