Gayle gives me a soft smile, ducking down to steal a kiss before he stands up and moves back to my bed. He puts his headphones on, snickering as chat demands what’s going on.

“One more round, chat,” I say, booting up another match. “If I lose then you all owe me kisses.”

“Welcome back, Azaad,” I say. “Looks like I’m winning no matter what tonight,” I say with a maniacal giggle, jumping into the game. Apparently kisses was all the motivation I needed to finally win a match. After stream, I jump into bed, holding Gayle tight.

“My hero,” he says with a giggle, kissing me on the lips.

“My muse,” I say back with a grin. “I’m glad we were on comms that day. I can’t imagine life without you.”

“Sappy,” Gayle says, wrinkling his nose at me. “I’m glad you don’t know how to mute your mic mid bark.”

“I’m never living that down.”

“Never,” he agrees, tugging me into another kiss. I guess there are worse things than barking at a sexy voice, especially when it leads to finding your forever mate.
