“You’re okay with that, right? Nadia and I discussed the plan, and I assumed she told you…”

“She did. And yes, you can stay here as long as you want. Let me know ahead of time so I can have someone pick you up.”

“You don’t need to be bothered. We can just show up there one of these days. We’re used to traveling, so it’s nothing unusual.”

“I would prefer that I have my men take you in. There’s a looming danger around us. I’m not taking a risk.”

“Thank you, Riley.”

“Is that a yes?” She didn’t reply, so I asked again. “Mom, is that a yes?”

“Yes, yes. I will let you know. I love you. Don’t forget that.”

And I got speechless again. My words got caught in my throat.

“It’s okay, son. You don’t have to force those words. You’re already making Mom happy more than you can imagine.” She was talking to me as if I were a little boy. But I didn’t mind. I chuckled before telling her to be careful and to send my hugs to the twins.

After I hung up the phone, Nadia’s head tilted up from her laptop, her eyes locking with mine as she smiled widely at me. Her gaze was teasing mine. “Did she tell you how happy she was that she and Laura were officially co-mothers-in-law now?”

“No. She didn’t have time because she was so busy ringing my ears off about your watermelon.” I chuckled as I rested an elbow on my armchair, my hand flying to my chin as I rubbed my stubble, my eyes soaking in Nadia’s beautiful face.

She giggled beautifully before stickingout her tongue at me. “I still haven’t forgiven you yet.”

“Lies. Didn’t you just tell me last night, after seeing the new bathtub, that you would never ask for anything more? And the way you were screaming my name while I pounded on you there made me think you weren’t holding any grudges against me.”

She bit her lower lip as she narrowed her eyes at me. And from the way her body flinched in her seat, she must have crossed her legs together, but it was too late—her arousal was already swirling around me.

“I can smell you, baby.” I raised a brow as I teased her, but my own dick was twitching in my pants.

“Go back to work. Your nose is failing you.” She rolled her eyes at me before her attention went back to her laptop, but I could sense she was faking it.

I glanced at the wall clock before a smug smile tugged at my lips. I have a few minutes to spare before my next phone meeting.

I stood up from my chair and went around my desk, closing Nadia’s laptop as she gasped and looked at me. Her bewildered eyes were seeking an answer, but before she could say anything, I scooped her up from her chair and laid her gently on my desk, parting her legs as I stood between her thighs, my hands running down her sides before I dipped my mouth and kissed her neck to her collarbone while my hand unzipped her dress from the back. I let her straps fall off her shoulders, revealing her big, bouncy breasts. I didn’t waste time and dug my head into her chest, letting my mouth capture one breast while my other hand kneaded the other.

Didn’t my mother say I must pamper my mate and give in to her whims? Well, I was just being a good son.

Chapter 102

TWO WEEKS LATER.

UNKNOWN POV.

Ishould be having afancy dinner right now with the Rogue Alpha of the North, if not for some motherfuckers who interrupted my plans. I had no idea what pack attacked us that night, but if I based it on our location, it must have been either from the Blue Meadows or the Silver Moon Pack, and that’s why we’ve been rounding this area looking for my slut of a daughter.

I thought she was killed that night, but we didn’t find her body, and someone confirmed that she was seen being dragged away from our camping site. I only had a few days to find her, but I still had no fucking clue where she was.

“Alpha!” A rogue wolf shifted in front of me, still panting from his run. “A red car is heading this way. Two blonde females are inside, about the same age as Alexa. We can make do with Plan B tonight.”

“Bravo! Now head off to Draco and the rest. Give them the signal. I will be running behind the car when it passes by here. Make sure they do what I told them to do and not wait until it is too near the border of the Silver Moon Pack.” I told him hurriedly.

“Yes, Alpha.” He replied before shifting into his wolf.

This was the fucking thing about being a rogue. I had no power to create a mindlink with my people, making communication in wolf form harder. But I knew, one day, I would no longer be a rogue and would have my own pack. I just needed more support, and Alexa had been my biggest bargaining chip, but then she was taken.

If the blonde female we would take tonight was the same age and as tall as Alexa, I could pass her off as her. They had only seen Alexa’s picture, and I was smart enough not to leave it with them.

Now, we just need to roll everything into place.
