“So fucking beautiful,” he whispers, kissing down my jaw, neck, and beginning to unzip the jumpsuit. I don’t protest as he unwraps my body from the regulated clothing.
His kisses move lower. Cayden swipes his tongue over my collarbone before moving down to the swell of my breast and looking up at me.
“You know I need words, baby.”
“Someone could see,” I protest, but Cayden smiles.
“No one will bother us, baby. Everyone knows you need a minute. I promise we’re alone.”
I relax into his touch and nod. “Okay.”
Cayden wastes no time, pulling the jumpsuit from my body and leaving me in just the cotton bra and underwear. Then he pulls the bra under my breasts, and starts licking at my nipple.
So many things happen with the single swipe that my mind just goes completely blank, and I give in to the pleasure Cayden is bringing.
His tongue glides over the hard nipple while his lips suck and his fingers press over the unoccupied nipple, squeezing and pulling at it.
The sensations from both have my back arching and hips bucking desperately for friction. Breathy moans escape my lips as he focuses on pleasing every part of me. Once he’s satisfied, Cayden kisses his way down my body towards my core, and I tremble into his touch.
My body feels electric, like Cayden’s touch is only amplifying with every touch, every gasp. I am completely at his mercy.
“That’s it, baby, let me take care of you. You’re such a good girl for me.” Cayden kisses the top of my waistband before moving down even further and kissing my core on top of the underwear before looking up at me.
“Yes,” I moan, desperate for more of anything Cayden will give me. Making quick work of the fabric, he lays down between my legs and starts to kiss, lick, and suck every sensitive part of me.
“Shhh, baby, stay quiet for me.”
Chapter 40:
Darlia
“Cayden! Darlia! Inside, now! Company!” Moria yells, running out the backdoor of the farmhouse. In an instant Cayden is up, pulling me up with him and running us both inside.
The kitchen is full when we enter, Olivia and Moria stand behind the counter, the boys beside her. Cayden opens a computer, logging onto some sort of server that brings up a camera feed. There are ten black agency SUVs headed our way. I look up to Cayden, my hands trembling.
There’s no way out of this.
I was safe. I was supposed to be safe.
“How? I took every precaution I usually do! No one saw Darlia, I made sure of it. We weren’t followed.” Cayden’s voice cracks from stress and fear. He looks like he’s a minute away from exploding while Marcus, Weston, Caleb, and Luke stand closer to see the camera feed.
Three of the SUVs stop at the beginning of the driveway, blocking it off. Another two more stop halfway down the driveway, probably to stop anyone who tries to run, while the other five start to head straight for the farmhouse.
“We have to get the girls out of here, now.”
“There’s no time!” Cayden yells, running a hand through his hair, his hands trembling slightly as he pulls at the strands.
“Olive, go. Take everyone you can to the basement, now.”
Olivia nods, running off and scrambling everyone downstairs to the basement while Cayden and the boys each take out weapons, counting the ammo and opening drawers, trying to find more of anything.
The sound of the tyres hitting the gravel is becoming closer and closer with every second. Cayden looks at me, and for the first time, I see fear in his eyes. Because for the first time this isn’t about just me and Bella, but everyone; his family and all the other girls.
“Whatever you’re thinking, absolutely not. Go get in the basement with the others.” Cayden’s eyes glare into me like he’s trying to see through me, anger flashing through my veins. He has a house full of assassins but he’s refusing to let them fight? We have a chance if he would just let us fight.
“I’m not letting you fight alone. You have a house filled with trained assassins, let them help.” I know it’s no use to argue, Cayden is as stubborn as I am. But right now he’s being a fool, and he’s going to get himself killed if he doesn’t listen.
“Out of the question,” Cayden says, his voice low and dangerous. His eyes bore into mine like he’s trying to make me comply from his gaze alone. When he realises anger isn’t working he switches tactics.
