“What’s the matter?” I ask, as seductively as I canmuster. I bend forward, flicking my tongue over his earlobe before I gently suck on it. “Cat caught your tongue?”
“I—” he cuts himself off as I climb into his lap, straddling him. I’ve completely forgotten the reason I came over to him in the first place. Now all I’m concerned with is torturing this man, the way he’s been torturing me.
I run my hands over his shoulders and into his hair as I stare into his eyes. I lick my lips and let my eyes drop to his. “Why don’t I help you with that?” I ask, rolling my hips against him as I lower my lips to his.
My kiss is slow and languid. I don’t plan on deepening it, but Elias has other ideas. As I start to pull away, he wraps one arm around my lower back, the other behind my head as he pulls me against him, his tongue instantly finding entrance as I let him take control.
I can’t feel him where I want him, with him wearing jeans, but I try to remind myself this is about teasing him, not me. So instead, I reach down and find his hard length pressing firmly against his pant leg. I squeeze him through the fabric as the kiss grows more frantic.
I try to squeeze him and stroke him through his pants until he groans loudly against me. Then I pull away, smiling at him as I step off his lap and stand up. “Come back here,” he says, reaching for me, as a frown starts to form on his brow.
I step back, my smile turning to a smirk as I shake my head. “I don’t think so. That was your punishment.”
“Dang, Wren, when did you become such a little vixen?” Pete asks with a laugh.
“She’s always been one, she’s just been hiding it,” Sly replies steadily, like he’s not surprised by my behavior. Hmm, maybe he’ll be my next target.
Elias blinks a few times and even shakes his head, as if he were in a daze and is only now coming back to himself. “Punishment?” he questions. “For what?”
“For torturing me.”
He tilts his head as he studies me for a moment. “You mean the spankings?”
“That and just, you know, you being all…” I wave my hand around his whole body, “you.”
“Me?” he asks, looking genuinely confused.
I roll my eyes. “Come on, Elias. You know how badly I want you, and you walk around all shirtless and hold me without letting me touch. It’s mean.” I say the last two words with a pout, then immediately try to look stern again.
“I actually didn’t know you felt like that,” he says carefully.
“Would it have changed anything if you did?” I ask out of curiosity. I’m not sure how he is so blind to my blatant desires. I feel like I drool every time I look at any of them, especially shirtless.
The corner of his mouth tips up in amusement. “Probably not. But I might have enjoyed it a bit more.”
“See?” I say, pointing at him. “Mean!”
He grabs my finger and uses it to pull me closer. “Oh, you haven’t seen me mean yet.”
Sly lets out an impatient sigh before asking, “Are we just going to ignore the fact that she walked in here and demanded a gun?”
I try to remain stern as I roll my shoulders back and look at him. “That’s right. What of it?”
“Are you serious?” Pete asks.
“Yes. You all have guns. I want one.”
“You don’t know how to use one,” Elias says, giving my hips a squeeze with his large hands.
“You can teach me,” I say with a soft smile. “Please?”
“No way,” Sly says from where he’s still seated in the living room.
Elias takes a moment to study my face before asking, “Why do you want one so badly?”
“When we figure out when Ivan’s leaving his home next, we’re going to make a plan to attack him. You’re not leaving me here,” I say a little forcefully to let them know that part wasn’t up for discussion, “and I’ll be better able to protect myself and cover you guys if I have a gun of my own. The knife is only good for close combat. Isn’t it better if I can take out my enemy before they get that close?”
“She has a point,” Dex says, making me smile in his direction.
