“Thank god,” he whispers, wrapping me around the waist and pulling me into his arms. “I love you too. I mean, I’m in love with you, too.”

Jumping onto Oak, I kiss him roughly, shoving my tongue into his mouth. His hands grip my shirt, fists tightening as we make out in the doorway.

“I hate to interrupt, and I’m so damn happy for both of you, but please don’t fuck on my doorstep,” Bash says, interrupting us.

Pulling away, I laugh, shaking my head. “Sorry,” I yell back into the apartment. “I’ll see you later!”

“Come on, let’s go home.”

The entire ride to the apartment, I’m grabbing Oak’s hand, or trying to lean across the car to kiss him. Multiple times, he has toremind me to stay in my seat, but I can’t help it. I feel as though I can see clearly for the first time. All the times that people would assume Oak and me were dating, or how they would question how close we were. Oak was always my best friend, yeah, but he’s always been more than that, too. And being able to name it has me happier than I’ve ever been. Oakley has consistently been my person, and I’m excited to see what happens next for us.

As soon as we shut the front door to our apartment, I’m on him. My hands find the hem of his sweatpants while I kiss him, biting at his bottom lip. Of course, he’s going commando, so once I have his pants down to his knees, I wrap my fist around him, giving him a few strokes.

“Fuck, Cole,” he pants, pushing at my shoulder, wordlessly telling me what he wants.

Without hesitation, I drop to my knees, guiding his cock into my mouth. I circle the head with my tongue, while one of my hands goes down to his balls, rubbing them with my palm. Oak moans loudly, his hands sifting through my hair. Looking up at him, we hold eye contact as he thrusts into my mouth, the head of his cock hitting the back of my throat roughly. Tears prick my eyes, but I don’t let up. I let him fuck my mouth relentlessly as he chases his orgasm. My own dick is rock hard in my pants, but I don’t touch it, wanting Oakley to take care of me once he’s finished. I quickly pull off his shaft, sucking on my finger, getting it nice and wet before sucking him back into my mouth while my finger tries to find his hole. Once Oakley realizes what I’m trying to do, he widens his legs, giving me more space to touch him. Inserting my finger, I crook it, trying to find his prostate. He pushes down on my digit, trying to fuck himself. I finally find that special spot inside him, the one that has him shooting roughly down my throat.

Sliding down to the floor, I try to catch my breath, but Oakley’s not giving me much of a reprieve before he’s pullingoff my pants and sucking my cock to the back of his throat. He doesn’t let up for even a second to breathe, his sole focus on giving me pleasure. I barely last thirty seconds total, if I’m being honest, before I’m coming down his throat. He moans loudly as he sucks me down eagerly, draining me of every last drop. We pile on each other on the floor, breathing heavily. Oakley pulls me into his arms, my head resting on his chest.

“So, what does this mean?” I ask, my heart rate slowly returning to normal. “Are we dating? Are we boyfriends?”

“Is it weird if I say it feels as though we were always boyfriends? Even if we didn’t realize it.” He replies, running his hand through my hair. The touch lights me up, but I know there’s no way I’ll be able to orgasm again.

“I’d love to be able to call you boyfriend if you’d let me?”

“Cole, I’d love nothing more than to be your boyfriend. When did you realize you were in love with me?” he asks, brushing the hair off my face.

Laughing, I turn into his armpit, trying to hide. “The second I called you earlier. I was talking to Bash, and it just kind of clicked for me. What about you? You were so damn quick to say it back.”

“I realized it a few days ago. I was watching you sleep, and I can’t explain it, but I just knew. In that moment, I knew I wanted you to be mine as more than a best friend.”

Leaning on my elbows, I glare at him. “And why didn’t you say anything?”

“I’ve been trying to figure out how to spit it out. Every time I tried to, I got nervous and then chickened out. So thank you to Bash for getting you drunk.”

I nod my head, chuckling. “Yes, we should thank Bash.”

“I love you, Cole.”

“I love you too, Oakley.”

OAKLEY

Coleand I have officially been dating for a few weeks, but have told no one yet. Except for Bash, of course. He knows since he was there when Cole drunkenly declared his love for me. To be honest, things haven’t changed much between Cole and me since we made things official. We still spend every night together, this time falling asleep in each other’s arms. We’ve gone on multiple dates, ending every night with a conversation about how it’s so similar to what we’ve always done. Besides the fucking and making out, of course. And realizing how in love with Cole I am. I’ve always loved him. It might have taken us years to figure it out, but I’m damn sure glad we did.

Tonight’s my birthday celebration, and the first time we’re going to let all the guys know we’re together. There wasn’t any specific reason why we haven’t said anything; it just hasn’t come up. But Cole wanted to do something special for my birthday, and this is the first year we have a great group of friends to celebrate with. It’s also the first year we’re going to have two different celebrations. I tried to tell him no, that we can still combine it, but he shut it down quickly, saying we need to spoil one another. However, I made sure Cole knew I wanted to spendsome alone time with him at the end of the night, and he assured me that once everyone left, I would have him to myself.

Taking a sip of my water, I smile at the crowd of people in my living room. Lennox, Jensen, Declan, and Tristan are sitting on the couch while Bash, Preston, and Jonas are sitting on the floor beside them. They’re not playing games, waiting for Cole to bring over the birthday cake he’s presently hovering over. I’m settled in the recliner in the corner, staying in my seat like I was told to do. Bash jumps up from the floor, switching off the lights as Cole turns around, carrying a cake lit with candles.

Cole starts off the birthday song, with everyone else singing along as he walks over to me. He places the cake down on the table and stands next to me. His hands find the back of my neck, rubbing slightly as they finish ‌the song. Closing my eyes, I make a wish: to spend the rest of my life with this amazing man by my side. After blowing out the candles, I glance at Cole, who’s staring at me with a bright grin on his face. Unable to stop myself, I grab his hand, pulling him down onto my lap. Cole shrieks as he falls, his hands wrapping around my neck.

“Happy birthday, baby,” he whispers.

“Thank you.” Grabbing him around the nape, I pull him close to me, covering his mouth with mine.

“Holy shit.”
