He kisses me softly, his lips lingering on mine, before he pulls away to get ready for the day. I watch him from the bed, admiring the way his muscles ripple. He catches me looking and smirks, leaning down to kiss me again.

“Kendra and I have another long day ahead of us,” I lie. It’s better than telling him the truth. “We have to travel a bit so we won’t be back until really late. Maybe one or two in the morning.”

He scratches his chest, then pulls on a shirt. “Anything we can help you with?”

I shake my head. “Nah, the gig is just a bit further than usual. Then we don’t have anything big booked until after Influencer Con.” Not all lies.

He leans down and kisses me again. “I’ll be waiting for you.”

And damn, does that make my cold heart flutter? “You don’t have to.”

“But I want to.” He finishes dressing and I mourn the loss of his naked ass.

“Wear something sexy. Kendra won’t care.”

Dallas snorts and shakes his head. “I’m not ready to play dress up where your roommate will see me.”

I grin and nod before wrapping my arms around his neck. He kisses me, but I deepen it. He groans, his hands gripping my hips, before he pulls away, a playful grin on his handsome face. “Later,” he promises, his eyes dark with desire.

“Later.” I nip his lips one last time and he cups my cheeks, giving me that sweet lovey dovey smile like before. Then he’s out of my room.

I stare at the ceiling with my jelly fish decor and sigh. How the fuck do I already miss him?

But now it’s time to get the day started and I have someone to kidnap for tonight’s entertainment.

Kevin glares at me from the seat I have him strapped down in. The fucker was sitting on a bench in a park watching kids. Every few minutes he’d touch himself. People like him turn my stomach. I tighten one of the zip ties around his ankle just a bit. Not quite enough to cut off circulation, but enough to scare him a little.

His nostrils flare and his breathing picks up. His eyes track my every move. I don’t have the muzzle on him yet, but I will. He seems like a biter. I’d know.

“What do you want?” he asks entirely too calmly.

I meet his eyes and grin. “Not much. Just for you to die.” I wiggle his phone in his face. “Passcode?”

“What did I ever do to you?”

“Not me. Remember Letta Arnold? You paid off her parents after she said you touched her. Passcode.”

“We were playing doctor.”

Usually I have more composure, but I slap him.Hard.He smirks at me.

I’m sure he thinks he’ll get one up on me, but he’s the one in my chair. I’d sat next to him on the bench and said I had someone back at my place he’d enjoy. He followed me to thevan. Then boom, I offer him a roofie laced drink, drove him here and strapped him down before he knew anything had even happened.

People just don’t take stranger danger seriously anymore and that’s a shame.

“Passcode.” I could hack the damn thing, but I don’t want to.

“What do you think you’ll find?”

I squat to meet his gaze again. “Here’s the thing, Kevin. You’re not leaving this place alive. You might as well tell me how to get into your phone.”

“So you can get off on the pictures?” He smirks, and I punch him. He doesn’t even react. “7654.”

“So secure.” I roll my eyes and enter the code. Immediately I want to throw up. “You’re sick.” I change the background as fast as possible.
