But... I recently discovered my favorite pastime is watching someone torture and kill rapists and pedos. I watch that, then go over to Kay’s place to fuck out my feelings. It’s a messed up cycle, but I can’t be bothered to care. Those disgusting people deserve to die as far as I’m concerned.
“So what are you thinking for this collab?” Kay asks shaking me from my thoughts.
My mouth opens and closes like a fish. “Dunno. It was really Hayden’s idea. He told me right as we got to the aquarium.”
Kay taps his fingers on the steering wheel as we wait at a red light.
“My entire brand is being pretty and ocean conservation. And you?”
“Fitness at any ability. And encouraging people to start where they can, not pushing themselves too hard before they’re ready.”
Kay bobs his head. “Okay, what about something simple? Kickboards for support.” He looks me over. “Did you bring your swim trunks or will I be the only one getting all wet?”
I swallow. “We can swing by my place to grab my trunks. Turn here.”
“Mmm, I get to see your place now.” Kay shimmies as he follows my directions.
“It’ll be faster if I just run in and get them.” My heart races.
“Do I really have to ask outright if you wanna fuck?”
I choke on my next breath. “Apparently?”
His laugh is joyful instead of trying to make be feel bad. “You’re fun, you know?”
“Hayden’s still around, so I figured I’m not boring.” I shrug. “Next right.”
Kay maneuvers over to the next lane and takes the exit. “Do you and Hayden share a place?”
I snort. “Absolutely not. He’s such a mess unless it’s spreadsheets and schedules. I’d probably strangle him if we lived together.”
“I’m glad me and Ken get along. We’ve been together for so long, I’d probably stalk her if she tried to leave me.”
That’s unsettling. “Next left. I’m glad you didn’t think I was stalking you for real.”
“Oh, I did. But we decided you had as much as us to lose.” He turns to me on the next red light. “We take out threats to our happiness. So I hope you’rereallynot a stalker.” The grin isn’t as creepy as it could be.
“Noted. One more left turn and we’ll be there.”
“Ah, this is nice.” Kay pulls into a guest spot and parks.
Before I can protest, he’s already out the door and walking up to the building.
“Hey, how can you and Ken afford that nice place?”
“We’re not just merfolk performers.” Kay winks and skips up the few steps to the door.
“I’d like to hear about that sometime.” I buzz us into the building.
He grabs my hand and swings it as we go. In the elevator, he presses me to the wall and my dick decides we’re doing this.
“You want this?” Kay asks and I nod. He’s so addictive, I’ll always say yes.
My eyes flutter shut as our lips connect. My brain shuts down. He’skissingme. Three weeks of fucking and no kissing and now his lips are on mine. What’s happening? Why is he breaking his rule now?
I haven’t even pressed the floor number, but I don’t care. I cup the back of his head and lick his lips open. He grinds against my thigh and I wish I had the balls to do more things publicly, but I don’t.
“Twelve,” I gasp out when he pulls away to breathe.
