Jacob sighed. “As much as I wish we could spare one of you, it’s too dangerous. I don’t know how many men Paul will have in the interrogation room or how many will be in the building. It might be an impossible ask with the two of you, so think carefully before you agree, because they’ll be no going back.”
Logan glanced at Aaron again and this time Aaron nodded. “Are you sure? I got us into this mess, not you.”
Aaron gripped his shoulder. “You’re my best friend, Logan. Even if you weren’t, you helped save my brother, and this is my chance to do something for you.”
Logan wanted to tell him that he didn’t need to do anything, saving Andrew was thanks enough, but they were running out of time. “Let’s go get them the fuck out of there.”
