“Yes.” Reaching for him, I pulled him down on top of me, my hands clutching his shoulders. “I think there is.”

I was insatiable when it came to him, and I didn’t know why. I had never acted like this with any other person. “Truth.” I tore my lips away from his. “Don’t you think this is moving to fast? I mean I’ve never moved in with a boyfriend after a weekend before. We know absolutely nothing about each other?”

“Boyfriend?” He pulled away slightly, his eyes searching my face. “Did you just call me your boyfriend?”

I blushed scarlet. Had I really just said that out loud? I hadn’t meant to. It was just another prime example of my mouth, making words before my brain had a chance to kick in. “Look, I don’t... I didn’t mean.”

He cut me off with a kiss, his whiskey coloured eyes twinkling. “I like the way that sounds coming from your lips. Boyfriend.” He repeated the word. As if he was trying it out. “Does that mean you are going to be my old lady someday?” One dark eyebrow arched.

“I don’t really know what that means,” I admitted ruefully. I had a vague idea what it meant because I owned a tv, but that was about it.

“It means you belong to me.” His head dipped down into the crook of my neck again, his breath hot against my flushed skin. Making me lose my train of thought. “Do you want to belong to me?” The way he said it made me think he wanted me to.

This was crazy, I told myself again.

“Don’t you want to know about me?”

He shook his head. His hair tickling my cheek. “No Cali, I don’t. I know how you make me feel, and that is enough for me. The rest I can learn later.”

Chapter Fourteen

Truth

Igot it now , why Ruined always had a grin on his face every time, I saw him. Three weeks I had woken up with Cali wrapped around my body every morning. Or found her in the kitchen brewing coffee with her hair sticking up in every direction. A thoroughly fucked look making her face look serene. So yeah I got it.

I liked having a woman around. And Wicked did as well. Even if he would never say so out loud. I could tell. Not that my older brother was here all that often. He was pretty good about making himself scarce. Apart from that one time, when he had walked in with Gent, I had been eating her out when she was sat on the kitchen counter.

Both of them had thought it was hysterical and I had wanted to visit violence on the pair of them. The only reason they hadn’t felt my fist connecting with their faces was that they had left pretty quickly. After several obscene comments about joining in or at least watching.

“Morning.” I wrapped my arms around her from behind, pressing myself into the small of her back as she made coffee. My hands, which seemed to have a mind of their own anytime she was within touching distance, roved up under my T-shirt. Sliding up her bare thigh and over her stomach.

“Morning.” She arched her back, pushing her ass out temptingly. “Coffee?”

“Yes.” I kissed her neck. Moving her wayward hair out of the way to get more access. “I have time for a coffee before I leave.” Another kiss before I let her go.

“You really have to go?”

“Yes.” Not that I wanted to. I wanted to spend all my time with her and Fender had so far been really good about it. But I still had work to do for the club. Important work.

Work that would keep Ruin out of prison.

“I’ll be back tomorrow though. Can you do without me for twenty-four hours?”

She shot me a look, her eyes rolling. “I’ll do my best.”

“What are you planning to do? Quiet night in?”

She met my eyes deadpan. Her face was perfectly serious. “I was planning on having an orgy actually.”

I knew she was joking. But I couldn’t help the flash of jealousy that ripped through me. I moved into her space instantly, trapping her against the countertops with a growl. “Don’t joke about things like that Cali. Not to me. What are you doing tonight and be truthful or I’ll have no choice but to handcuff you to the bed when I leave.” I was joking about that last bit. Or at least I was pretty sure I was joking.

“I’m going to Cooks to keep Gem company until her shift finishes and then we are going to eat ice cream in front of the tv.”

“No men?”

“No men Truth. It’s girls nights.” Her hand came up to cup my cheek. “I’ll be here when you get back.”

“I’ll pick you up from Gems. We can go for a ride.”
