Mish rocked on her toes, her hands clasped at her chest. “You two make the most amazing couple. I couldn’t be happier for you both.” Her tears did spill, and it was clear she was restraining herself from running over and hugging them.

Mr. Binn nodded, smiling. “Congratulations. Great congratulations to you both.” He lifted his d-pad. “I will add this new relationship status to the contracts. Holly, we’ll need to discuss the contract with you and your betrothed.”

Holly turned her head and spoke near Rasker’s ear. “I hope you don’t mind sharing fifty-one percent with me. Mr. Binn counts married couples as one entity.”

He kissed her forehead and pulled her close. “I don’t care about owning Moone’s Landing. Your heart is the only thing I want.”

Holly closed her eyes and rested her cheek against Rasker’s shoulder. He was a wonderful companion, and the best thing that had ever walked into her life, not counting the crew currently herding each other back inside to finish discussions with Mr. Binn.

Once again, they were alone in the square. The fountain bubbled beside them. The dome gleamed overhead. Birds hopped along the edges of the stone square, unbothered by the two people standing in the center of it all.

Holly looked at the ring on her finger, then up at the man beside her, then out at the station that Oliver Moone had built and Charles Moone had nearly destroyed and Holly Greene-Moone had saved.

With help. Not alone. Never alone. That was the whole point.

“We should go back inside,” she said. “Mr. Binn will want to adjust the contracts.”

“In a minute,” Rasker said, and pulled her closer.

She gave him the minute. She gave him several, actually, because standing in the warm light with his arms around her and the fountain singing beside them was not something she was in any hurry to end. With the future of Moone’s Landing secure, it wouldn’t.
