“Thank you.”

“But,” she snaps, and I frown.

“But?”

Lily leans in close to my ear, those perfect fucking tits brushing my chest as she shifts, breathing the next words quietly so I’m the only one to hear.

“If you fuckherin my house, not only will I gut her and string her up by her intestines, but I’ll cut your dick off and put it through a meat grinder.”

Holy shit.

Fuck, that’s hot.

And twisted.

But hot.

Why the fuck is her psychotic alter ego so fucking enticing?

Lily Bennett really is jealous of Trudi.

I knew she had another side to her. I saw it the day she threatened my dad and more times since. But fuck, I believe every word that falls from her lips.

I must have a death wish for what I’m about to say, but fuck, Lily is worth dying for.

“So I’ll just go and fuck her somewhere else, then?”

Lily’s nostrils flare, and her lips part like she wants to say something. Maybe protest. But she doesn’t say a word. Instead, she snaps her mouth shut, glares at me, and spins on her heel, storming from the room.

Yeah. She wants me. Bad.

“What’s up her arse?” Trudi asks, and her grating voice startles me because for a moment I forgot she was even there.

“Time to leave,” I snap, standing from the stool.

“But…” she squeaks as I grip her upper arm and start dragging her to the front door. “I thought we might hang out for a bit.”

“Not fucking interested,” I snap again, opening the front door and shoving Trudi out into the night.

She spins to face me, but I close the door before our eyes meet, and I hear her call me an arsehole through the thick timber.

I fucking smile.

I really am an arsehole sometimes. Especially tonight.

Trudi had a purpose, and she just served it, and since I don’t really want to see her dead, she should be fucking thanking me.

I’m fairly certain Lily’s threat was real. She is a fiery redhead, after all, and fuck, my plan to rile her up couldn’t have gone better.

She wants me. After that little show, she can’t even fucking deny it to herself.

She was jealous. And I’m going to have fun reminding her of that.

CHAPTER 11

LILY

I’ve spent the last two days avoiding Asher. I’m not sure how I did it, but I managed to dodge him, even while I knew he was trying to see more of me.
