She nodded, then ran off.
Then I pulled my gun out and angled it at Wolf.
“Who?”
He and Jury went pale.

3 Years Later
It was fight night.
Suri was with her Mimi for the night.
Ever since Grey and his mother reconnected, she’s been a welcome presence in our lives.
He told her about Kacie, and she was sad... but... she got it.
Then Grey and I introduced her to Warren... who just so happened to be one of Suri’s favorite people. She growled and asked how Kacie came out of her body.
But then... it wasn’t Grey who answered her, no, it was me...
“She came out of your body because she was meant to be his little sister. She showed him what not to look for. She taught him how to treasure the little things. And without her... we wouldn’t have Warren.”
She had simply nodded, then kissed my cheek.
But that was then... and this is now.
Just then... I gaped... Why have I never noticed that?
I looked up at Grey and asked, “Why does Khal haveHurricanetattooed over his heart?”
He smirked, “He called his woman that before he fucked things up.”
I lifted a brow, “How?”
He shook his head, “Don’t know anything else.”

Grey
That night... I closed my eyes and felt it all.
My little girl was safely in her bed.
My brothers whole and happy.
My wife curled up to my side.
I got my wish.
The wish I made when I was sixteen years old during my first night locked up in juvie.
To have a woman who was made just for me.
Then I looked down at the love of my life.
Sure... It took me over two decades to have it... but anything worth having... is worth fighting for... worth waiting for.
