She took a few selfies, wishing she had someone to share her look with, but she didn’t. Not really. After she moved to Denton Heights, the friends and colleagues she’d had in Cincinnati hadn’t stayed in touch, despite her best efforts. There was no sense pining over friendships that weren’t as strong as she’d thought.

She took a selfie of her outfit from the neck down, cleavage on display, of course. She made sure the she-wolf tattoo on her inner wrist was covered, so she wasn’t readily identifiable in the photo. She then changed out her avatar onKinkswith the selfie and opened her messages.

“Oh, shit,” Jessica said out loud. This was the second time Daddy Vic asked who Lisa was. She had messed up. She scrolled back through her DMs. Damn it. Yep, she’d typed Lisa’s name right there. She was usually so much better about other people’s privacy. She had to let Lisa know she’d messed up. She opened her message thread with Rachels_Toy and let her know what she’d inadvertently done. And then she opened the message thread with Daddy Vic.

Juicy_Babe:Hey, DC. Unfortunately, I broke a confidence. Lisa is Rachels_Toy. Please keep that to yourself. I’ve let her know that I messed up. Ugh.

Daddy Vic’s next post made her literally laugh out loud. “OMG, she asked if I’m a Mommy Domme.”

Juicy_Babe:Definitely NOT a Mommy Domme. Although I do work with young people and sort of have a dominant role in my job. But no, I’m not a Mommy Domme.

“Are these people onKinksreally my friends? I can’t even give them details about my life.” Jessica sighed. Daddy Vic was someone she’d like to get to know more, though. She was intelligent and interesting and seemed to enjoy their correspondences. But time would tell. Dommes sometimes played the long game, and it was just a matter of time before they asked, ‘What are you wearing?’ Ugh. She did not want another online relationship. They were glorified booty calls and glorified masturbation sessions. She wanted more.

Juicy_Babe:My project is going well. I finally feel like I might not let everybody down. My colleague and I are outlining how we want things to go. At first, I was resentful that they forced this burden onme, but now I’m owning it and doing it my way. Thank you for the suggestions. I was floundering a bit. I’m heading to a Halloween party in a few minutes. It’s a lifestyle party, so maybe I’ll meet some people and make some friends. So, how are you feeling these days?

It sometimes took Daddy Vic days to respond, which was actually a good reminder not to fall into some kind of frenzy. Like Daddy Vic had said once, she was not Jessica’s Domme. And Jessica was not her sub, so there was no sense in badgering the poor woman with her needy loneliness.

Her message box lit up. Adrenaline shot through her, and she had to laugh. “So much for not succumbing to frenzy.”

Rachels_Toy:Nice outfit, JB!! Halloween party? And, it’s fine that you told Daddy Vic my first name. No harm. No foul.

Rachels_Toy:Hey, I’m bursting with news! I recently had two new friends drive all the way here for a visit. They’re home now, but when they were here, Rachel and I took them sightseeing and took them to our local dungeon one night. Remember, I told you that I was a bridesmaid for one of them last month? Well, her wife, R, is amazing at impact. Rachel let me bottom for R at the dungeon. Rachel benefitted later that night (if you know what I mean). LOL. Anyway. Maybe one day you and I can meet like that, JB.

Juicy_Babe:Wow. That’s great. I’m glad you got to meet up with your new friends. You met one of them onKinksoriginally, right? I guessKinksdoesn’t have to be the scary place we make it out to be.And, yes, I would love to meet you sometime, too. Maybe next summer? Teaching is taking up all my time right now, and being at a new school…You get it. But soon! Anyway, yes. Let’s figure something out for the summer. Love you, my friend.

A while back, Jessica and Lisa shared a limited amount of personal information with each other, and so far, nothing awful had happened. It was nice to know that somebody she called a friend knew a little more about her.

She checked her watch. Time to go. She grabbed the birthday card with the fifty-cent piece inside. Miss Marta told her that the hostess, Mistress Rowena, didn’t want gifts, but Jessica didn’t want to go empty-handed. She was a gift-giver, and a card with the coin was such a small thing.

When she pulled up to the gated home on Western Ridge Road, she was awestruck by the wealth on this side of town. She pressed the call button on the security pad and gave her name when prompted. She felt special when the gate opened, and then an attendant showed her where to park.

“Holy shit,” Jessica said. “What have I gotten myself into?” She hoped to find Miss Marta right away because the house was a freakin’ mansion, and this much obvious wealth scared her a little. She left her phone in the car because Miss Marta said no pictures, and she didn’t want to be accused if she took it out in a nervous moment.

Once inside, a cute young woman named Ashley took her coat and directed her to the great room. She told Jessica that part of the protocol was to greet Mistress Rowena first before doing anything else. Jessica’s nerves ramped up at that statement. This was areallifestyle party. She hoped she wouldn’t do anything wrong. She didn’t want to embarrass Miss Marta or herself. Jessica kept her mask in place and hood up.She surveyed the other guests. Her eyes grew wide. Clothing was optional, apparently.

Jessica didn’t see Miss Marta or Shanice, but as she entered the great room, she spotted Mistress Rowena sitting in a high-backed chair, looking like a monarch receiving her subjects. There was a short line, so Jessica got on it, fully intending to pull her mask off so her host could see who she was. They’d only met twice, after all.

The woman in front of Jessica finished her greeting, and then it was Jessica’s turn. Jessica waited for Mistress Rowena to speak first. She knew enough of protocol to wait.

“And who do we have here?” Mistress Rowena asked. Jessica started to take off her mask, but Mistress Rowena stopped her. “Leave it on, dear. You feel safer wearing it. I understand.”

“I’m Jessica, Ma’am. We met at the dungeon and then at Rikki’s coffee shop.”

Mistress Rowena smiled a knowing smile and said, “Oh, yes. I’m so glad you came. You’re a teacher?”

“Yes, Ma’am.”

“Noble profession,” Mistress Rowena said. “Teachers are caring, adaptable, and nurturing. Not to mention strong enough to deal with immature scallywags.” She laughed and looked toward Minjung, her very nude submissive sitting on a low stool next to her. Minjung grinned. “I believe your friend Shanice is—” Mistress Rowena paused and looked toward Minjung again, who said, “She’s in the kitchen, Madam, helping Miss Tina with the food.”

“You heard,” Rowena said. “Go greet them and have a good time tonight. Again, I’m glad you came.”

“Thank you, Ma’am,” Jessica said and then handed her the birthday card. “I also heard it was your birthday, and I didn’twant to come empty-handed. There’s a little token inside that some believe, if placed on a windowsill, will bring good luck.”

“That’s very thoughtful,” Mistress Rowena said. “I’ll consult with my other half, and we’ll find the perfect windowsill.” She turned to look at her submissive, who looked up at her. It was very clear to Jessica that the two were very much in love and positively smitten with each other. Minjung turned to face Jessica and nodded deeply. It was almost a bow. Jessica nodded back.

“Enjoy the party,” Mistress Rowena said. “Be sure to check out the haunted house downstairs.”

“Thank you, Ma’am. I will,” Jessica said and moved along.
