Seth snorted. He was still reeling from the conversation, but his heart felt lighter now. He believed that his father had seen that he was wrong, and that he was going to try and put things right.

“He apologized, for everything. And offered me a job in Austin. And what I suspect is a lot of money. None of which makes up for all the crap he put me through, but… it’s a start. I think he means well. I’d like to forgive him.”

“Today’s all about new beginnings,” Oz said. “I’ll go along with whatever you decide.”

“I know. That’s why I married you.” Seth smiled to himself. He knew he could rely on Oz.

Oz had been what he’d been looking for his entire life, and now he’d promised Seth that he’d be there forever.

“I thought it was for my stunning good looks and huge dick,” Oz said, quietly enough that only Seth could hear him.

“That, too,” Seth agreed, chuckling.

This was easily the happiest day of his life.
