Just hugs me.

Her dark hair against my shoulder, her thin arms around my waist, holding on the way she held on to Coin's cut the night she came to the ER.

Tight. Like she's been waiting for this. Like she knew before any of us did.

"You promised," she whispers.

"I promised," I say.

And I hold her. And the room erupts.

And Garrett is standing by the bar with his arms crossed, his eyes wet, and a look on his face that shows how happy he is for me.

He raises his beer. One nod.

Coin nods back.

And I stand in the middle of a motorcycle club on Christmas with a ring on my finger, two girls at my side, and a man who held everything together alone for ten years until I showed up.

I spent my whole life saving other people.

I never thought someone would save me right back.
