“I agree,” Monqilcolnen said. “I want you alone, Wyn.”

I swallowed, unable to speak as my chest heaved.

“Should we discuss more?”

I had to swallow a few times before I found my voice. It didn’t want to come for some reason. I had no idea why. Finally, I forced out, “Yes.”

We had the typical conversation of what was allowed and what wasn’t allowed. Monqilcolnen agreed to sex at least three times a week, as long as I snuggled him afterwards—it was the aftercare he needed. We also agreed to tell people about us courting. I could already imagine the gloating Urgg was going to do. Public affection was allowed on both sides, and I was grateful I could claim him in full view of people.

Monqilcolnen got to his feet and held out a hand, his tail twitching and his eyes not quite meeting mine. “Do you want to join me in my room?”

“Yes.”

I was up in a flash and bolted toward him, my tail taking his. A zing went up my spine and settled in my hard cock. I whined.

He brushed a thumb over my cheek, and I leaned into his touch. Monqilcolnen pulled me closer. “So excited for me, aren’t you?”

“Yes,” I panted.

Monqilcolnen paused. “I do not wish to injure your emotions by saying the wrong thing.”

I fought a smile. He was over ten cycles older than me, but he was so cautious of me. Courting Monqilcolnen would be interesting, to say the least.

“Caleb taught me something,” I said.

He frowned, his chest vibrating.

“Jealous?” I asked.

“I am always jealous of everyone around you.”

“Good to know.” I went on my toes to shorten the distance between our faces. “Caleb taught me a human thing called a safe word.”

“Safe word?”

“It’s a word or group of words that is pre-established by the couple to indicate when to stop instead of ‘no’ or ‘stop.’”

“I like this. What word?”

“It needs to be something I wouldn’t say on a regular basis,” I thought out loud. Monqilcolnen did not reply, allowing me to keep rambling until I finally settled on, “Fusion.”

“If you say fusion, I shall stop immediately.”

“Your safe word?” I demanded, because I fully intended to have the best fuck of my life with this man.

“Pragmatic.”

I chuckled, head ducking.

Monqilcolnen lifted my chin, and my laughter ceased from the heat in his golden eyes. My breath turned rapid, and my tail strangled his.

In a low voice, he asked, “Would you like to return to my room with me?”

“Yes.”

He smirked. “And what do you want me to do to you?”

“Fuck me.”
