“Shut up, you!”
Nicky slid from Rebecca’s shoulder. She propped him up on her hip and kissed his cheek. It was uncanny how much he looked like his mother.
Nick cupped the back of his head and kissed him right between the eyebrows. Then he grabbed Rebecca by the waist and pulled her close.
“Do you want me to put him down, babe?”
Rebecca lifted a brow. “I think I can handle this little guy,” she said with a grin.
Since he could no longer resist the urge, he pushed his lips to her. He tasted her sweetness while inhaling the delicate scent of the tea-tree oil shampoo she used.
Nick grumbled when she put her hand on his chest and pushed him away with a smirk. “I’m hungry,” she told him.
“Thank you!” Tanya and Vince shouted in unison.
Nick narrowed his eyes at his fiancée. “Alright, alright,” he relented, returning to the grill.
Rebecca stood on her toes and kissed his jaw. “I love you,” she whispered in his ear. “You’re my whole heart.”
