THIRTY-SIX
Lilith
A few months ago I was a human woman, working as a phlebotomist at my local hospital in Emeraldsville, Alaska with a human boyfriend. Now, I was Queen of Hell and in love with four different men.
How could one measly accident change my life so fucking much?
“I don’t bloody know, Poppy. All I know is that I’m so fucking thankful we found you.” Blaise brushed a lock of my hair out of my face as he leaned in to kiss my lips.
“And that we saved you,” Kai said, pushing Blaise away and leaning against the desk I was sitting at.
“I turned her,” Thaddeus gloated with a smirk as he plopped down on the chair in front of me with a stack of files.
“But I’m her favorite.” Aziel stepped through the portal with a playful grin as he prowled toward me to plant a kiss on my lips.
“Ah, ah, ah,” Kai scolded him. “I’m her favorite because while you three were goofing off—”
“Working,” Thaddeus corrected with huff.
“Working this morning, Iwas there to—”
“Become my favorite!” I finished before Kai could indulge them on our morning rendezvous as I bent over the desk to grab the folder from Thaddeus.
As I took the folder from him, Blaise blurred behind me and dug his fingers into my hips, pressing himself against me as he pushed me further against the desk. His breath hit the side of my neck. “What if I want to be your favorite?”
“You know how to become my favorite.” I hissed as his hand moved from my hip down between my legs.
“Like this?” he murmured.
“Mmm, yes. Exactly.” He rubbed his fingers in a back and forth motion while pinning me so that I couldn’t rock my hips. Lust filled the room in plumes.
“Come on, we have so much to do.” Thaddeus groaned as he made eye contact with me.
“I think we need a break.” I bit down on my bottom lip. “We’ve been working so fucking hard. Baylor and Priamos can manage without us for a few hours.”
Blaise stepped back, letting go of me and stopping the friction I craved. “She’s right.”
Pouting my lip out, I stood up and crossed my arms. “That’s how to become my least favorite.”
“Oh, Poppy. Don’t worry. I’ll make you see stars again in that pretty little head of yours soon enough.” He winked.
Thaddeus sighed, adjusting himself with a grimace.
“What of it, mate?” Kai smirked. “Pretty sure you’ve figured out you’re into sharing her.”
Aziel snorted, strolling over and closing the distance between us. His lips captured mine in a searing kiss, and I wrapped myself around him as he lifted me up by my thighs. He broke the kiss, and I nuzzled my head into his neck.
“I’m pretty sure he just likes to watch then get her all to himself,” he grumbled to Thaddeus.
“Ah, that’s true.”
I shimmied down Aziel and bit into my thumb, dripping it on the ground before summoning Priamos.
It was different using my demon magic when it used blood. It made me think about blood magic, and how I’d single handedly obliterated it. But it was for the best. The blood witches were no longer a threat, and when we came home, everything settled for the first time since I’d been turned into a vampire.
The Kings of Hell were pleased to hear both Zelek and Mystia weren’t a problem, as were the Queens of Heaven. My family woke up as soon as they’d entered Heaven, and they didn’t remember being taken by Mystia at all. I made sure to make time to go visit them as often as I could.
Gabriel’s body was sealed off in Heaven for whenever his soul would reincarnate. Angels reincarnated to their original bodies apparently, which I was slightly jealous of. I fucking missed having horns.
