“We can still follow and join them in London,” Rhys offered.

“No,” she decided and turned to him and smiled. “We have our own children to worry about, and if we do not return soon, your son is likely to sail off in your boat, with passengers aboard.”

Their eldest son, six-years old, idolized Rhys and followed him everywhere and wanted to do everything he did. Tempest thought it was sweet and had been jealous that her child seemed to like his father more, but then they had a daughter, who preferred Tempest to Rhys. She patted her stomach, not quite swollen enough to be noticeable, and wondered who that child would become, just as she wondered about the futures of the other two. She turned her eyes to the deck of the ship and shaded them from the sun before she waved at her family ready to depart.

“I am going to miss them.”

“We can always visit,” Rhys promised.

“But not for at least a year.” She would not cross the ocean while she was increasing.

“Come, let us find the cutter and take control before our son orders it to sail.” He laughed.

“It will be good to be home again.” She sighed.

“My home is where you are,” Rhys reminded her.

“Maybe one day we will travel to London, but for now, I am quite happy to remain in the Caribbean with you and our children.”

“As am I, Tempest, my love, my life and my passion.”

“And you are mine.”
