She kisses my jaw. “Me too.”

Irina looks over, catches my eye, winks. Viktor notices, smirks, then reaches over and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear like it’s the most natural thing in the world.

Nikolai yells something about beating Sofia’s target score. Luka screams “Dragon fire!” from the tree.

Irina laughs. Viktor shakes his head, smiling.

I pull Anya closer, kiss her temple. “Love you.”

“Love you more,” she whispers.

Ten years ago I thought I’d lost her.

Now she’s here, my wife, mother of my kids, sitting between me and the family we built together.
