“That means you’re all mine,” he tells me, wrapping his hand around the back of my neck.
“Haven’t I been all yours?”
“Goddamn right you have. Always will be too.”
“Are you okay?” I ask, seeing him wince a little. He’s still healing.
“I’m good.”
“Don’t lie to me, Patch.”
“Okay, this shit hurts like a bitch, but I ain’t takin’ those goddamn pills the doc wants to pump into me. They make me tired, and I’m sick of sleepin’.”
“What do you want to do then?”
“Look at you.”
“There isn’t much to see.”
“Oh, little Train Wreck, there is plenty to see.”
“What do you see?” I ask, wondering what he has to say. His other hand comes to cup my cheek as he smiles down at me.
“I see a woman who’s stronger than she knows. I see beauty, heart. I see the girl who went after what she wanted, regardless of what it cost her. I see my future.”
“You do?” I whisper.
“Yeah, I do. I see a lot more than that, too,” he tells me.
“What else do you see?”
“I see the mother of my kids.”
“You’re what?”
“You heard me. I want you to have my kids, Anika.”
“You’re in no shape for that.”
“I’m in the best shape of my life. I’m ready to fuck you against every wall in the clubhouse.”
“You’re not ready for that, but I like the sound of it,” I tell him. Patch leans down, pressing his lips to mine as I moan.
“You hear that sound?” he asks. “That means you want me.”
“You’re healing, Patch.”
“Fine, but when I’m healed, your ass is mine.”
“I’m always yours.”
The end.
