“Grab me a washcloth,” I tell her, pointing to the cabinet. “And get it wet.”

“She can hardly stand,” Raven mutters. “Not sure you should be givin’ her instructions.”

“I got it!” Bellamy blurts, blinking profusely. “As soon as my vision clears.”

“I’m fine.” Raven closes the toilet lid. “Just ate somethin’ bad.”

“Here.” Bellamy hands me a dry washcloth. “And what did ya eat?”

“Um…” Raven glances at me.

“Fish!” I say the first thing that pops into my head.

“Fish?” Bellamy wrinkles her nose. “When did you have that?”

“Earlier, before comin’ here,” Raven says.

“Then it shouldn’t be affectin’ your stomach after all these hours. It’s gotta be somethin’ else.”

“Yeah, maybe.” Raven stands, turning on the faucet. “It passed now.”

Bellamy stares at her, narrowing her eyes and studying hard. “You’re lyin’.”

“Says the drunk who can hardly walk.” Raven chuckles, drying her hands.

“Oh my God!” Bellamy bursts out, glancing at Raven’s stomach. “You’re knocked up!”

“Jesus Christ, keep it down!” Raven scolds.

Bellamy looks between Raven and me, then shakes her head. “Does no one use protection ’round here? Good lord.”

“I did,” I defend. “Well, the first time.”

“And I did too…most times.” Raven shrugs.

Bellamy throws up her arms. “I’d say it’s time to have the sex talk, but clearly it’s too late.”

“You act like we’re havin’ teen pregnancies.” Raven crosses her arms. “I’m older than you.”

“Which means you should know better!” Bellamy chastises. “Wait, who’s the father?”

“I’m not tellin’ anyone until I’ve told him.”

Her mouth drops as if she’s figured it out already. “Oh, for fuck’s sake.”

Raven glares, shaking her head. “Shut up.”

“Wait, do I know him?” My gaze ping-pongs between them. “Someone from here?”

Raven shoots me a look that tells me everything I’ve suspected for months.

“Bodie?” I whisper.

She nods. “He has no idea, though. So please don’t say anythin’.”

“You have to tell him!” Bellamy urges.

“I will! Just not right now.”
