When I enter my penthouse with the guys, some of them whistle at the place, clearly impressed by both the apartment and the girls’ setup.

They’ve set up stations around the living room and kitchen, with a variety of games, snacks, and drinks. The place looks great, and the team’s atmosphere is excellent as we brought home another win tonight.

Sarah’s made some teams, pairing the rookies with the veterans. At all the stations, we’ll have the opportunity to score points, and they’ve even put up a board with all our names.

I go over to Sarah, who’s rocking the most beautiful smile as I approach her.

“You like it?” She bites her lip, hope written all over her face.

I take her into my arms, hugging her tight.

“It’s perfect, baby. Wouldn’t expect anything less from you.” I lean down and give her a kiss, which quickly turns heated.

“Get a room, captain,” Noah snickers from beside me.

“Oh, we have several, don’t you worry,” I tell him, making Sarah blush in my arms, and pushing at my chest.

She knows, just like me, how we’ve put every room in this apartment to good use.

“Okay, let’s get this party started,” she tells me, gathering the guys in the living room.

The girls are naturals at this thing, and I realize I would have been lost without them.

As the games begin, I quickly realize how right Sarah was about this evening.

“Your girl really did a good job,” Aaron says beside me, and I couldn’t agree more. Everyone is having a blast, getting to know each other better in a setting where competitive guys like us thrive.

“Yeah, she did,” I say, looking over at Sarah, who’s enjoying herself with a glass of wine, together with Samantha.

When she senses my stare, she looks over at me, a sly smile on her face. I wink at her, feeling grateful for this evening and for the difference she makes in my life.

She sighs, giving me a breathtaking smile.

We are in the final game of the night, which I didn’t even know about.

Sarah and Samantha have prepared a quiz consisting of childhood pictures of all the guys.

Our job is to match the pictures to the right man.

It looks like they’ve done their best to find the most embarrassing pictures of us, causing us to howl with laughter repeatedly.

It’s safe to say that puberty has been good to us.

Most of the guys have gone from scrawny, awkward athletes to full-grown men with facial hair and muscles.

In the end, Noah and his team take home the win, which I’m sure I’ll hear about for the next year or so.

I don’t mind; seeing the guys warm up to each other is more than enough for me.

Hopefully, we’ll be able to keep the team’s momentum.

All the guys clean up their own mess, and Noah, Liam, Aaron, and Samantha stay back to help us with the last things left behind.

Liam staying back probably has everything to do with a certain redhead, but I don’t mind.

Samantha’s been ramping up her flirting with the other guys, almost sending my poor guy into a frenzy.

Still, he holds back, which I don’t understand, but I’m sure he has his reasons.
