Huh? “What’s that mean?”

Scott waved a hand toward them. “Jackson said you two would be together by the time I got back. I thought it would take at least another six months.”

“You bet on us?” James asked incredulously. “How did you even know?”

Striding forward, the look that Scott gave him clearly showed that he thought James might be a little on the slow side. James was relieved to see that Scott wasn’t treating him any differently. “Dude, I’m pretty sure everyone was just waiting for you to buy a clue.” He stopped in front of him. “No offense, Professor, but it was sort of obvious.”

Jacob shrugged. “Your brother didn’t have any idea.”

“Yeah,” Scott agreed as he looked toward James with disappointment. “He is strangely unaware about some things.”

“I am not!” James scowled at his brother.

“You are,” Jacob and Scott said at the same time.

James huffed. “Fine. Whatever.”

“So…” Scott waved his hand in front of James’s new outfit. “Something else to tell me?”

This James could surprise his twin with. “I’m exploring my little side with Jacob.” He held up the hand that wasn’t still linked with Jacob’s. “I’m an older little than Michael so it’s different.”

“Different but good, right? Helps you relax?” Scott asked with a grin.

James narrowed his eyes. There was absolutely no way that his twin had known.

“I’m glad you found the cape. I knew you would,” Scott told him.

And fuck! Maybe Scott had figured it out before him. “You?”

Scott shrugged. “I could see the way that you watched Michael differently. When he was little. There was longing on your face. I just stuffed the cape in the corner of the couch, knowing that you’d go on a cleaning kick.”

James wanted to be mad. He couldn’t though. The cape had started his journey into age regression and helped open James’s eyes to the grumpy professor that had been close but so far away.

He turned in Jacob’s arms and linked his hands behind Jacob’s neck. “I don’t think I like him anymore,” he lied. “Kick him out.”

He ignored Scott’s scoff.

“I don’t know, baby.” Jacob leaned to kiss him gently. “Maybe we should thank him?”

“Never!” James said dramatically although his Daddy was right. They’d do something nice for his twin.

Big changes were coming. With him staying so much in the main house James didn’t know how any of them would handle it. He and Scott had always been together. It would be weird not sharing the apartment. James wasn’t giving up Jacob’s bed.

Jacob needed him.

Oh! He was sure that Jacob didn’t even realize it himself. James knew though. Jacob appeared to have everything. The money and his position were what most people saw. Not him. James was the only person other than Jacob’s brother to know the truth. Jacob might not realize how much of his past trauma he still held on to.

James would help Jacob work through it all. They were stronger together. And James had some lessons that he wouldhappily share with his Daddy. Love Lessons. That was what Jacob needed from him. And James was determined to pass that test.
