By the end of his speech, Kyrie stared at him like he saw the miracle they were. He looked as if he trusted Fen and finally recognized exactly how much Fen wanted this. This was all Fencraved since the moment he realized Kyrie was his. When he thought of running away, it was because this was all he needed now. Fen was exhausted with duty. Getting abducted had finally broken something inside him. He just wanted to sit in peace. Kyrie was that tranquility he sought.
“Can we just walk away for a night? I’m overthinking everything.”
A smile tugged at the corners of Fen’s mouth at the question. That was exactly what they needed. “The sun is going down.”
“It’s a full moon.”
Kyrie looked hopeful and Fen wanted all the same things. “Let’s go for a run.”
The smile that exploded across Kyrie’s face made everything right with the world. They were fine. It was the world that was fucked up.
Cool night air ruffled Kyrie’s fur as he ran at top speed. He felt Fen hot on his heels. It was beyond obvious Fen could overtake him any second. Vampires were faster than Weres. A sexy laugh rang through his head, making the chase twice as hot. He was happy. That was what Kyrie would focus on tonight. No matter what, he had this right now. He felt Fen’s intent to jump a half second before he leapt. Kyrie moved to the side, causing Fen to miss him. Using the opportunity to his advantage, Kyrie pounced. His front paws landed on Fen’s chest, keeping down his prey. It was obvious he had rolled to bounce back up and ended up in the perfect position for Kyrie’s attack.
Got you.
The bright smile Fen wore had Kyrie biting back a dreamy sigh. “It seems you did. What do you intend to do now?” Fen wasn’t even winded, proving he had only been toying with Kyrie.
Still, Kyrie played along. What big teeth you have.
Fen barked out a laugh. “Isn’t that supposed to be my line?”
Maybe, but your fangs are showing. Do I make you hungry?Damn, those fangs barely peeking out had Kyrie primed.
“Famished.”
Kyrie immediately turned human. “Then you should take what you want.”
Fen’s gaze flickered to Kyrie’s neck. His eyes glowed for a second.
Pre-cum dripped from Kyrie. He already felt those teeth sinking into his skin, taking them to heaven.
Fen’s head lifted. He licked the scar Kyrie proudly wore. It was as if he purposely drew out the anticipation—like foreplay.
A pant burst from Kyrie. With his eyes closed, he savored every brush of Fen’s tongue. The smell of the moonlight mixed with his mate’s scent. He wanted everything about them to be real so goddamn badly.
Fangs pierced his throat.
The loud cry that left him was out of his control. He was helpless in the arms of this man. His body shook with the ecstasy of release. Kyrie’s pleasure mixed with Fen’s in his head, stealing his soul.
We are real.
The words sweetly brushed his brain, feeling like the most loving caress. Emotion clogged his throat.
While using nothing but their mixture of cum to ease the way, Fen slowly pushed his way inside Kyrie. It was like neither of them had just blown. They took their time, kissing and straining against each other. The seed of a wishful dream took root as a second orgasm built. Maybe they could be forever. If he worked and fought hard enough, maybe he could be the one who shaped his future. Oxygen disappeared from the world as Fen took him to a whole new plane of bliss. Through the waves that were nothing but elation and spice, Kyrie believed Fen could save him.
Chapter Nine
Fen:Igoteverythingmoved in and unpacked, so you should be set when you get home.
Kyrie:Home. Sigh. I have to admit, I’ve been skimming your thoughts all night. I love how proud you are of mixing my things with yours. That’s so sweet and a definite improvement over all the unhappy customers I’ve had today.
Fen:What’s up with the anger lately? Humans are notoriously bad about being unkind to servers.
Kyrie:Who knows? At least I get to come home to you every night now.
Fen:Thank Goddess.
Kyrie:Deidra called and invited us to their house for dinner.
