Redd moves around the island, his long legs closing the distance between us easily as he offers me his hand and gives a little bow. “Dance with me?”

The only thing I can do is smile and take that hand of his. That, and dance with him—even though I’m not entirely sure how to dance. He places his hands on my waist and guides my hands to his shoulders. He’s so darn tall, it’s not the easiest thing in the world, but we make it work.

“So, Dulcie,” my scent match asks, his neck bent so he can hold intense eye contact with me, “will you be our valentine?” As he asks that question, Monroe and Lev stand near us, waiting for me, for my answer.

Between them, with Redd’s hands on my waist, I feel so… so unbelievably full. So happy. Gosh, I really do think I’m falling in love with these guys. It both snuck up on me and happened so fast it’s impossible to explain.

I don’t have to think about it. I tell them, “Yes, I’ll be your valentine. Will you be mine?”

Redd grins, and his answer is a hard bend of his back as he leans down to kiss me. That kiss makes my head spin, to the point where I almost don’t realize he hands me off to Monroe next. The über alpha murmurs an enthusiastic response before sweeping me off my feet and kissing me hard.

Last, Lev grabs hold of me, gives me a close-up view of his dimples, and whispers, “Now and forever.” And then he seals it with a kiss, too.

It’s just the four of us in an apartment, yet it’s magical. I’m flying high. This is what life is supposed to be, how it’s supposed to feel. They brought me out of my shell, helped me face things I always hid from. They breathed life into me when I was content playing the invisible omega.

These guys are mine, and from now on I’m theirs. Whatever life throws at us we will handle. We can do it. I have confidence in us, even though this is all so new. But the future is just that: the future, not something to worry about right now.

Tonight, I’m their knotty, knotty valentine.
