I pull her into my arms, breathing in her sweet scent.

My perfect wife.

She changed my life forever the day she showed up at my cabin.

Ourcabin.

I’ve extended this place a lot over the past few years, adding a nursery for Olive, another bathroom, and a larger kitchen. I also added three spare bedrooms. Aria thinks I’m nuts, but I know they won’t be empty for long. My wife and I are going to fill this cabin with babies.

As I hold Aria close, Bonnie calls from the living room.

“Hey! Stop whatever you’re doing in there, you crazy kids, and bring out that pie.”

Aria catches my eye, erupting into giggles.

“Coming, Grandma!”

We grab the plates, but as Aria moves to leave the kitchen, I pull her back against me. A low groan escapes my throat as I kiss her. She tastes like cherry pie—warm and sweet. When we break apart, I suck in a breath, looking into those big brown eyes.

“I love you so much, princess,” I tell her.

She grins up at me. “I love you too, caveman.”

Then we head back into the living room, where our family is waiting.
