Those two had something even if he didn’t know it yet. Patience… she knew though. Most of my friends looked so happy, there was just a couple that needed to find happily ever afters. My eyes landed on Capri and my brother who were looking at each other.
“Something is up with them,” I said to Jurnee. She followed my gaze and smiled.
“Well shit, we better round up the posse, those two may need our help.”
Laughter escaped me. It was as if her comment summoned the ladies because one by one they started wandering over. Capri was too busy watching my brother so she hadn’t noticed which was probably a good thing since the conversation about to be had was about her.
“I heard Kace say, “Oh shit, here they go again.”
Gyth looked at him with an odd look. “What the hell are you talking about now?”
The other guys laughed at him and my man, he looked at me and mouthed,“Love you.”
I blew him a kiss and turned to head to the car.
“Hey, where are you going?" Ruby yelled.
I heard her gramps laugh like he knew exactly what I was thinking but I told her and everyone else anyway.
“To celebrate!” I yelled.
Feet pounded on the ground behind me and I knew who it was even before I heard Bodie yell.
“That’s my cue. Someone watch our girls.”
Laughter rang out as he caught up to me and carefully scooped me up into his arms. I knew now that I spilled the beans about the baby he would be overprotective. No more caveman, throwing me over the shoulder, and tossing me on the bed for a while.
But that was okay, I adored everything about my husband.
A huge smile stretched across my face.
Damn being in love was amazing.
