“I have some waiting upstairs.”
She blinks at me. “You think of everything. It’s a little … unnerving.”
Eloise lays her head on my chest and wraps herself around me, the way she’s done from the beginning as if she’s afraid I might get away.
I’m never going anywhere.
And I fuckinglove itwhen she drags her hands over my abs. I love her hands on me. I can’t get enough of it.
“Hopefully, I’m not a shitty mom.”
I frown down at her. “No chance of that happening.”
“Do we want to keep living here, or do we want to buy a house?”
I roll over her and cup her face, staring down at her.
“What doyouwant, wife?”
She sighs and lifts up to kiss me. “Maybe a house with a yard. I don’t know if I want to raise children over a sex club. But we should keep the penthouse, of course.”
“Done. We’ll start house hunting tomorrow.”
She can have whatever she wants.
“Any other requests?”
She grins.
She rarely asks for anything. In fact, just like that fateful day when she went shopping with Scarlett, I’ve had to convince her to spend our money. It’s one of the reasons I love her so much.
That and the way she looks at me, as if I’m her whole fucking world.
“I have everything I ever wanted, Rome.”
Fuck yes.
My heart squeezes, and I kiss her hard. “And you always will, firefly.”
