“Absolutely.”We’ve talked about kids.We agreed on twoafterI said I wanted one and he said he wanted six, which was a ridiculous number.It was quite a lengthy negotiation.I’m pretty sure he was messing with me about six kids but still… we ended up agreeing on two.I feel pretty good about where we ended up.
“But for now?”I run my fingers over his chest again.“What do you want right now?”
“To be deep inside you.Bare.”
“So, the baby making starts now.”
“Sure.Why not?”
“Now is as good a time as any.”We’re both working.He left the Phoenix PD and remains in good standing with them.Instead of joining another police force nearby, he decided to join Hamlin Home Renovations.The two of us have started our first flip together.Initially, he was under the illusion that he was in charge, but a good thwap on the head with a broom handle was enough to straighten him out.

In all honesty, we’re good.We’ve got most of the coins and the gems locked up tight at the bank.I auctioned off several of the coins to help complete the Little house.They ended up selling for over ten thousand dollars each thanks to a bidding war.The auction house insisted on including the story or provenance surrounding the coins, which drove up the price.
The rest we’re going to hang on to for a rainy day or an unforeseen emergency.If nothing bad happens, we’ll leave them to our children along with the story of how we came to have them.
Chase’s lips touch my neck as he whispers, “Come on, let’s make a baby.”
