acknowledgements
It's still crazy to me that this will be the fifth acknowledgement section I've written.
My first ever book came out almost two years ago, and I seriously don't know where the time has gone. So much has happened over the past two years that wouldn't have happened had I not been brave enough to just start writing. So if you're reading this as an aspiring author, please just write the book; I would love to read it.
Anywayyy, Moonstruck was another one of those stories that has been living in my head for so long that I felt like I'd explode if I didn't make it real. Cora's character is so reminiscent of the girls I grew up with (but the northern version.) So resilient, so funny and everything I wasn't brave enough to be. And Marcus was the male version of eldest daughters everywhere. Their characters just blended so well together that it just became this story that I hadn't meant to be so emotional, but it was such a happy accident.
And this story, like all of my stories, wouldn't be the one you read today without the help of somany amazing people.
My husband, Rob. Your name will never not appear in these things, because you see the crashouts and the breakdowns when I feel like I'm not good enough and when I get in my head. I am forever grateful for you and your ability to make me smile even when it's the last thing I want to do.
My friends, thank you for still buying my books even when you could get them for free.
My family, thank you for supporting my dreams.
My dad, I love you.
And you, dear reader, thank you for helping a little indie author achieve her big girl dreams of writing love stories for a living. Your love and support throughout every book release I do means more than you will ever know.
We only have one book left in the Liberty Grove University Series, and I am already so sad for that time to come. But prepare yourselves for the future to look a little different after graduating from the ivy-covered walls of Liberty Grove. And make way for something a little more⦠magical.
