“Fair enough.” A thought occurring to him, Jimmy peeked up and eyed the rack across the room. “That thing is coming home with us, right?”
Cold laughed suddenly, unexpected and deep.
“Well?” Jimmy pressed with a cheeky grin.
“Mmm,absolument, mon amour.”
“And that’s a yes? Right?”
“Oui.” Cold winked.
Jimmy snuggled in close, smiling still as he said, “Je t’aime, Rod. With all my heart.”
Cold pressed a tender kiss to Jimmy’s brow, murmuring in reply, “Et je t’aime aussi. Always.”
