little commitment, but he perfectly articulated how I felt. Now it was my turn to show

him how I felt.

Synchronized with him leaning down, I stood on my tiptoes and our lips met in the

middle. There was something different about the way he was kissing me now. I could feel

a need within him that had to be satisfied. His touch was passionate, yet tender.

Something about it made all of my insecurities vanish and I wanted to show the same

side I showed on the phone with him.

His body enveloped mine so easily as his muscular arms wrapped around me. Every

motion had a force behind it I had never experienced with Travis, and it created a desire

within that was foreign, but invigorating. I pulled him deeper by the collar of his shirt and

could feel him smile against my teeth.

The desert night was beautiful. Warm, but not stifling, with the smell of a campfire far

off in the distance. No one was around, at least that I could tell. A coyote howled at the

moon, giving me an impulse that I never felt before. It took over my sensations and I

pulled away with a determined look.

Anxiety filled his eyes, but I didn¡¯t let it fester before I grabbed the bottom of my tank

top and pulled it over my head. With only my lavender bra covering my torso, I bathed in

the moonlight as he gaped at the view.

¡°Wow,¡± he said but I stayed silent and began to graze my fingers underneath his shirt,

enjoying his abs for the first time. Each was carved solid; I could have spent ages traveling

them with my hands, but I was on a mission. Making eye contact, I grabbed his shirt and

slid it up halfway until he took over, removing it himself.

There was no wildlife calling, only the sound of our breathing. We weren¡¯t touching,

aside for my hand on his now exposed chest. His pecs were buffed and defined

underneath my hand where I could feel his heart beating. The only hair on his torso was a

dark trail starting at his pelvis that begged me to explore. A tattoo was drawn on his chest,

the letter R in big bolded black ink, with orange flames shooting from it. It looked

menacing, but in the starlight, half-nude, I could feel a vulnerability radiating through

him. When our eyes met again, his lips crashed back on mine.

Not breaking our lips, he guided me toward the door. With our bodies glued together,
