And it's everything I need to hear.

Ty slides the ring back onto my finger. I watch him, and I know this is what I want. I know we’ll make it this time.

He seals the promise with a kiss while the sun sets behind us, casting the world in endless light.

Tyler Brady BreaksFree with Soulful Solo Debut

6/20/2025 by Pulse Nation

After nearly a decade as the lead guitarist for the acclaimed rock band The Deviant, Tyler Brady has finally stepped out on his own with the release of his highly anticipated solo album,Unbound.

After the tragic loss of founding member Chance Hollowell in early 2010, the fate of the Grammy-winning band was up in the air. But with Brady stepping in to replace Hollowell, The Deviant saw great success over the years. Brady's dynamic guitar work and amazing stage presence earned the band another Grammy. After The Deviant went on an indefinite hiatus in 2019, the band members have been pursuing their own creative endeavors.

Tyler Brady is no exception. His first solo record,Unbound, is a stunning collection of songs that showcase his versatility as both a songwriter and a performer. The album draws inspiration from his earlier influences and blends electric guitar riffs with lush acoustic ballads, creating a sound that is both contemporary and timeless.

"This album really allowed me to explore different sides of myself as an artist,"Brady explains. "The Deviant was always a collaborative effort and more of a commercial project, but withUnbound, I was able to fully dive into the personal experiences and emotions that I wanted to share."

And share he does, with tracks like the sultry "Midnight Rendezvous" and the introspective "Fading Light" laying bare Brady's vulnerabilities and triumphs. His voice, rich and emotive, carries the listener through these intimate sonic landscapes.

The Deviant’s drummer, Zander Shaw, who has also been working on solo material, notes thatUnboundrepresents a bold new beginning for his bandmate.

"Tyler has always been one of the most talented musicians I know," Shaw says. "But this album really show his growth as an artist. The depth of the songwriting and the passion in his performance is just breathtaking. I’d love to collaborate in the future."

Unboundis undoubtedly a testament to Brady’s artistic evolution, a powerful statement that marks the start of an exciting new chapter in his career.
