“I will always be yours.” Jane wrapped her arms around him. “You stole my heart, Blake.”
“And I will treasure it for the rest of our lives,” Blake murmured.
“Good.” Jane kissed him.
“Besides, your sister will have my hide if I do not.” Blake laughed as she swatted his arm.
And his laughter made her laugh, and the sound of their joy mingled with birdsong as the carriage pulled away. They were finally ready to begin the rest of their lives.
