“I don’t want to plan a wedding while I’m still in grad school,” I tell him. “But I think I’d be perfectly happy to be engaged.”
“Good,” he says. “Because since the first moment we were together, that first time in St. Thomas, I knew I never wanted to be with anyone else. There will never be a day I don’t want you, that I don’t crave your love and your smile and your body. You’re it for me, Avery, forever.”
