“You’ll stay?” A flicker of nerves passes through her eyes. “For the party?”

My fingers dance across her shoulders. “Of course, princess. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”

The party lastsuntil nearly two in the morning. It’s by far the latest I’ve ever stayed up the night before a race, even one I’m not racing in, but my body is on high alert. I tried, and failed, to keep my PDA to a minimum, but I’m stuck to her like a magnet.

Once the last guest leaves, Kelsey and Josie dissect every aspect of the opening.

“Do you think people had a good time? They liked everything?” Josie swivels her head to me. “What did you think?”

“I think it was brilliant. The food was outstanding. I get why you freaked out over Jamie Wolff. He lives up to the hype.”

Russell’s going to have to whoop my arse back into shape after all the bang bang shrimp I ate.

“You were brilliant, Josie,” Kelsey adds.

Her cheeks flush under his praise. She made the right choice. Jos deserves to have a job—and boss—who appreciates the hell out of her.

“Why don’t you two head out of here? I’ll make sure everything gets locked up for the night.”

Josie tilts her head. “Are you sure? We can stay to help. It’s not a problem, Kelsey.”

He looks at my hand, which is lightly rubbing Josie’s bare arm. “I think this one is eager to get you alone.”

I’ve never loved another man so much.

We’re barely through the door to Josie’s flat before my hands start removing articles of clothing. I need to be as close to her as humanly possible. Tell her she’s all I ever want. Taste the warmth of her lips pressing against mine. Feel her body desperate to be joined with mine.

I press my lips against her collarbone and gently pepper her chest in kisses until her breathing quickens. I grab a condom from her bin of eclectic sex toys and then fit myself on top of her, and our limbs tangle together in all the right places. There’s no need for foreplay, and I easily settle deep inside her.

“Jesus Christ,” Josie moans.

I grin cheekily. “Nah, just me.”

Her laughter turns to gasps as I begin rocking into her. I wish I could make a playlist out of all the noises she makes. Josie wraps her legs around my waist to pull me deeper, and I happily oblige. Our moans fill the air as we give each other what we’re hopelessly craving. Josie writhes beneath me, rotating her hips against mine as I dip my head down and gently suck on her pert nipples.

“You feel so good, princess,” I rasp.

Josie lifts my head by grasping my jaw and greedily sears her lips against mine. I could kiss her forever. Hell, I plan on kissing her forever. I melt into her touch and bask in the feel of her under me, touching me, loving me.

Littering kisses across her exposed skin, I feel her involuntarily clench against me. I brush back her hair so I can watch her face as she comes undone.

“Come for me, baby,” I whisper against her lips. “Let me feel you.”

Her orgasm consumes her, and she arches her back, lustfully moaning. I don’t let up and pound into her until the twist in my belly gets closer and closer to my own release. Deep guttural noises come from my chest as my orgasm rolls through me. My arms tremble from holding myself up, but fuck if it’s not the most magical feeling in the goddamn world. The Disney World of sex, if you will.

It’s only been a few weeks since I’ve been with her, but that time made me forget how good she makes me feel. How good Imake her feel. It’s like I’ve hidden our lovemaking deep into my subconscious to help me survive our time apart. And now that we’re reunited, it’s overwhelming. Slow tears fall from my eyes as I cradle Josie’s face. My beautiful angel. What the hell did I do to deserve her?

“Oh my God. Are you okay?” Josie stammers, her words rushed. “Did I break your penis? Because it’s possible; my mum told me. I know the penis isn’t actually a bone, despite the word boner, but it’s more of a pressure overload than a break, anyway. Do?—”

I kiss her deeply so she stops her insane but adorable worrying. “I’m just happy, is all.”

“I’m happy, too,” Josie says, her eyes fluttering as exhaustion finally sets in. “Want me to sing Pharrell’s ‘Happy’ for you?”

I flop onto my back and pull her on top of me. She settles against me like she’s done thousands of times before. Usually, Mademoiselle is tucked underneath a pillow, but now she’s snuggled comfortably next to Monsieur to the left of my head. Josie doesn’t bother hiding her stuffed animals anymore.

“What about ‘Walking on Sunshine’?” I suggest.

“Or ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’?”
