Marie’s head whips over to Kara, who’s sending daggers my way. I blow her a kiss and grab the wine from the fridge and glasses from the shelf.

“Let girl’s night begin, we have a lot to cover ladies!”

CHAPTERTWELVE

We getto the stadium with some time to spare, so we load up on all the snacks and take our seats behind the plate. The boys are stuffing their faces with food, chatting, and having a good time. I take my phone and text Lucy, letting her know we made it. “Hey boys, hold up your hotdogs and say ‘cheese’.” I point my phone towards them and take a picture, sending it to her.

Lucy

They look like they’re having a blast. Thanks again Kess. *kiss face emoji*

Me

Anything for you Lucy. I hope you have a good time with the girls.

Lucy

Oh I am. *wink face emoji*

I laugh, I think Lucy has already started in on the wine. I go to put my phone in my pocket when it vibrates again, indicating another text. I open the screen and it’s a selfie of Lucy taking a drink of her wine and winking. I look closer and notice she’s not drinking the wine, but licking the rim of the glass. My cock stirs as I immediately imagine her tongue somewhere else.

Jesus.

I sit forward in my seat, trying to hide the boner Lucy just gave me. I look to the side to make sure the boys don’t see my phone, their attention is on the field. I click reply.

Me

Lucy. You just gave me a boner, in public. The things I want to do with that mouth…

Lucy

The things I’d like to do to you with that mouth. *angry face with horns emoji*

Shit.

If we don’t stop this, I’m going to have a full on erection, in public.

Me

Lucy, I really don’t want to go to jail for public indecency.

Lucy

*laughing cry face emoji* ok, ok. I’ll stop…. For now. *wink face emoji*

Fuck, this woman.

I put my phone away and count backward from 20, trying to refocus my brain. Thankfully the announcer comes on the speaker introducing the starting lineup, indicating the game starting. We stand up and cheer as the Jackals are announced. The Jumbotron pans over to where I’m sitting.

“Look at that folks, big brother Davis is here to cheer on Judd,” the announcer says.

The crowd cheers and I give a wave back, a sense of pride filling my chest. Judd was the typical little brother, always wanting to tag along and do what I was doing. So, when I started playing baseball, it was only a matter of time until Judd wanted to also. When he became old enough to actually pitch to me and help me practice my catching, I knew he’d be something.

Standing here today, listening to the crowd cheer, not only for me, but my brother too is such an unreal experience. Getting to share that with Hudson, who seems completely in awe of it all, well that’s just icing on the cake

Hudson appears on the screen and I give him a nudge, jolting him out of his trance. He gives a small, shy wave to the camera before it pans back to the field and the Devils lineup is announced.
