“Does she know something that I don’t?” I asked, half-kidding as I headed over to my closet and pulled out my bright-red Christmas dress, yanked it off the hanger, then slipped it on with my back towards the guys.
When I finally turned around, they were all on one knee, and Josh held open a ring box.
My eyes instantly watered, and my hands came up to my mouth. “Seriously?”
“Seriously,” Josh echoed.
“I thought I’d be dressed for this, but here we go,” Luke said.
“Naked is even better,” I told him.
“Do you want me to take off my robe? Would that help? I’ll do anything to make this moment memorable.” And just like that, he dropped the robe, then got back down on his knee; that small towel still hung around his neck, resting on a totally ripped chest. I couldn’t help but giggle at seeing him like that. He had a beautiful body, and he also had a slight erection.
“Constance Elise Manors, the woman I love with all my heart,” Rascal said.
“The woman I love with all my heart,” Josh said.
“And the woman I also love with all my heart, and apparently, my entire body,” Luke said, grinning.
“Will you marry us?” they all said in unison.
“Yes, oh yes!” I told them. The phone rang and we all knew it was Mrs. N demanding we meet our guests. “But before we go out and announce all of this to our friends and family,” I said, while I slowly unzipped my dress, and walked over to my beautiful, king-sized bed. “I havea perfectly scandalous idea!”
Before I could say one more word, my dress came off, along with everything else I’d been wearing, and despite the ringing land line, and our buzzing phones, we had no choice but to take the time to truly celebrate our day the absolute best way we knew how… the rest of the world would just have to wait. Right now, I had no choice but to ride a cowboy… or rather… three cowboys!
“Whoo-hoo!!”
