“At least once,” she continued, not wanting to let go of the luscious ass in her hands. “Maybe twice. I bet you’re fucking hot when you’re knocked up.” She bit her lip, trying not to laugh as Savannah tried to kick her. She grabbed her leg to stop her. “Tucker needs a sibling,” she argued. “And besides, I think you should get to do it right this time, where I’m there to rub your back and bring you weird snacks, and I’m right there with you to catch our babies and hold them when they cry so you can rest.”

Savannah’s eyes were wet. Brynn came and sat next to her again.

“I want Tucker to grow up knowing he has a mama and a mom.” Her eyes started to mist too, so she swallowed, then rushed on. “I mean, the next part is a bit less planned out, it’s just a general blur of parenting and writing music and going on tour and honestly we’re going to need to pay Lane a stack more money to make them stay because it all sounds like a lot to manage. But it goes on like that for a while, then at some point we become the kind of people who gross out our grandchildren because we still make out a lot and then eventually we get really, really old and preferably die on the same day,” she shrugged. “Anyway,” she told her, all cards on the table. “That’s my plan.”

Savannah looked at her for a long moment, her face flushed and tear streaked. Brynn gazed steadily back. There was not a single doubt in her mind of what she wanted for her life. Everything was in this woman’s hands.

“Brynn,” she whispered slowly. “I was just hoping to hear you say you’d consider moving to Nashville.”

“Oh,” she said. “For sure. In a heartbeat.”

They smiled at each other. Savannah was quiet for what felt like forever.

“Okay.”

“Okay?” Brynn’s heart pounded.

“Okay, as in, let’s start with the first step and see how it goes from there.” Savannah’s eyes were achingly soft. Brynn managed not to burst into happy tears. She swallowed and nodded.

“Oh shit,” she said, making her voice level with some effort. “I forgot the first, first step.”

She got to her feet.

“And what’s that?” Savannah looked slightly dizzy. There was a light in her eyes that Brynn had never seen before. It thrilled her.

“It’s where I take you over to that couch over there and make you lift your dress so I can give you the best head you’ve ever had in your life,” she announced, biting her lip against her smile.

“You’re extremely cocky,” Savannah considered her, but Brynn could already see the decision flaring in her eyes.

“Actually,” she said, taking her by the hand, “you once told me that I understate everything about myself.” She led her across the room.

“I did, didn’t I?” Savannah bit her lip as she followed.

“Mmhmm,” Brynn settled back on the couch, pulling up a cushion and resting her arm behind her head. “So I’d suggest it’s in your best interest right now to come here and sit on my face.”

Savannah gazed down at her, lust and amusement making her glow. Slowly, she pulled her dress all the way up and over her head, letting it fall to the floor. Brynn’s teeth nearly went through her lip.

“How are you real?” she breathed. She wanted her in every possible way, all at once, right now. She was also dying to prove to Savannah that everything she had to offer was everything she could ever want. God, would she ever take care of this woman.

“I’m definitely real.” Savannah looked at her from under her lashes.

“I also can’t believe you manage to wear that insanely tiny dress on stage without a bra,” Brynn breathed, as reality caught up to her. Savannah laughed, her eyes lighting up.

“There was some strategic boob tape,” she confessed, straddling Brynn’s lap. “I ripped it off on my way to your door.”

“That might be the sexiest thing I’ve ever heard.” Brynn was definitely imagining it.

“Shut up.”

“Make me.”

Savannah did. She tasted so good Brynn wanted to die. A few moments in, muffled between Savannah’s thighs, she heard a knock at the door. She didn’t stop moving her tongue and Savannah squeaked, her hips rolling.

“Brynn?” came the voice, sounding concerned.

“She’s indisposed at the moment,” Savannah called out, and Brynn licked her harder.

“Oh.” There was a long pause. “Hey, Savannah, you’re not, like, murdering her or anything, are you?” Noah asked tentatively.
