Neither of Zentello’s co-CEOs is romantically involved with anyone, so I’m unsure where this rumor originated. There could be some confusion because Nate Lowe’s brother, our VP of Marketing, is married to someone who also works in the marketing department. You can look up Ashton Lowe’s bio on the company website under Team. The two have a child. Ashton runs a tight ship here at the office, so he wouldn’t tolerate any employee being sexually harassed. And should that happen, it would never be brushed aside or silenced. You may use my information as an inside source, if needed, but you have my word that rumor is 100% false.

Thank you for the information about Zentello’s marketing department. I’m assuming someone got confused since two people have “Lowe” for a last name, and I will use you as an unnamed inside source in my piece.

By the way, I went to the Team page on Zentello’s website. Information can be easily found on Nate Lowe and his brother, Ashton, but there’s nothing on the co-CEO. Can you share anything about Mr. Z? No one seems to know anything about the guy.

Oh, and Valentine’s isn’t that far away. I hope you don’t have to buy your own candy and flowers.

Ernie

Nearly eighteen months. That’s how long it took “Ernie” to ask me about Mr. Z.

Sitting at my desk, I pull the pen from my hair and toss it across my office. It hits the wall and falls to the carpet. Honestly, I thought he’d ask me sooner, so I’m not surprised Mr. Z’s name finally came up.

But I can’t deny the twinge of disappointment. A stupid feeling, given the guy’s a journalist. He and his cronies at PharmaNews are nothing but thorns eager to prick Zentello and draw blood. I can’t forget that.

I suppose I should give “Ernie” credit for finally having the nerve to ask me about Mr. Z in a straightforward manner. The secret of Mr. Z’s identity has been driving the press mad for years. Too bad I’m the last person he should bother asking, but I will give him a morsel of info. Call it a quid pro quo for seeking clarification on rumors about Zentello. That’s the least I can do, right?

You’re welcome. Mr. Z is a private individual who has yielded his position in the public eye to our other CEO, Nate Lowe. The two are best friends who share a passion for science, especially biochemistry. On a personal level, both are divorced and, as I mentioned before, not dating anyone. Zentello comes first for both of them, which makes having successful relationships difficult.

As for the upcoming February 14th … Unfortunately, it appears I’ll be alone again. But there’s always next year.

Ernie,

Thank you so much for sending me flowers and candy on Valentine’s Day. Both were perfect and made the day so much better than I imagined it would be. No more “meh” for me. Perhaps you do this for all your inside sources, but even if that’s the case, I appreciate the gesture.

Oh, before I forget, a little lab rat told me more info about Orchid will be released soon, so keep your eyes and ears open!

Thanks again for the goodies,

Zelda
