The party's in full swing when Trey and some of the other players arrive.
I lean against trey, my back to his front while I listen to him joking around with the team. His arms are so tight around me that I can’t walk away from him. As soon as he got home, he found me, and hasn’t really let me go since. I’ve been able to go off and play some of the games with Calvin, but he always brings me back.
“I’m going to dance with Calvin.” I go to walk away but he pulls me back into him, making me laugh. “Trey, I’m only going over there,” I say through my laughing as he nuzzles my neck.
Trey bites my neck softly. “I know, but I don’t have to hide you anymore.”
“Yes, I know, and you made it very clear too, by posting pictures of us all night.” I posted a few pictures on Instagram, but Trey's posted a lot. It’s obvious he’s been waiting for this moment for a while now.
“Fine,” he grumbles, “but I’m watching you.”
“You always do.” I look over my shoulder at him as I walk over to Calvin.
“I didn’t think he’d ever let you go.” Calvin laughs as I take his hand and he spins me around.
I have to say, it's nicer that we can be more open around each other. His whole team have welcomed me to the group, so did a lot of the wives and girlfriends. There were a few that just gave me a look and walked away from me, but I’m used to that with Trey’s family.
As Calvin spins me around, I knock into a girl. I turn to face her. “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to knock into you.”
“Yeah, well you did,” she snaps. “You should be more careful or I might just take your man.” She looks over at Trey as he chats with his friends, looks back at me, then walks off. I stand there for a minute, shocked at what just happened.
“How rude,” I complain. “I apologized for knocking into her, and that was her come back?”
“Come on, let’s go grab a drink,” Calvin says. “I can tell you now, Trey won’t look at her once, never mind twice.”
I look at where she's walking toward. Yeah, I know Trey won’t, but she'll try.
Calvin and I make our way to the drinks table, and I see Madison walking over to me. This should be fun. I’ve tried to keep out of her way, as I really can’t be bothered to listen to her shit today, and especially not after what just happened while Calving and I were dancing.
“Looks like the truth might finally come out,” Madison sneers as she stands in my way. “What are you hiding?”
“Is this really worth it? Making my life hell so Trey will end things?” I ask her. “It hasn’t worked, so isn’t it best to just leave us alone?” I make a move to walk around her. I’m really not in the mood for Madison.
The news has already reached England, so it’s only a matter of time before my parents find out. I’ve been keeping my cool around Trey so he doesn’t ask what’s happening, but I know she’ll try and push any button that she can.
She gets in my way again. “You know everything will come out. All your dirty little secrets in the deep holes you’ve dug yourself. Then my brother will see what a little gold digging—”
I take a step closer to her, getting right up in her face. “You know nothing about me,” I growl. “You think I want his money—I don’t. You think that I have some secret—I don’t. But listen to this, you won’t win. I might not have grown up with the whole white picket fence, and happy family sitting at the table, but that doesn’t mean I’m after Trey’s money. You don’t scare me, and don’t think for a moment I won’t—”
“Okay, let’s move away from here.” Calvin grabs me from the waist and pulls me away from her. “If you punch her, I don’t think Trey will be happy,” he says me as he carries me away, then deposits me far away from her.
“Trey not talking to me for a few days would be worth it,” I fire back, grabbing a shot off the table.
“I think it'd be more than a few days, so ignore her.” Calvin tells me as I look over at her talking to some of the girlfriends of the players; one of them being the girl off the dance floor.
“Fine. It'd be more than a week, but it'd still be worth it.”
“I don’t think I’d be able to stay away at all, shorty.” Trey stands behind me as I look up at him. “Calvin's right, ignore Madison. She'll get bored, and leave us alone.”
I shake my head as I grab another shot. “So, how long's everyone normally here for?” I ask. I don’t want the party to end, I want to know how long it’ll be before I can get naked and in bed with him. I slowly lick my lips as I lazily run my finger up and down his chest.
“I can kick everyone out now,” Trey whispers. He leans down and gently kisses me. As he pulls away, he nips my bottom lip.
“Before you get started, we have to leave.” Calvin shows me his phone, and I look up at Trey. “I'll meet you outside,” he says, then rushes out.
“Everything okay?”
“I have to leave,” I explain. “Staff meeting. I don’t think I'll be able to make it back, but I'll be here in the morning.” I wrap my arms around his neck. “I promise that I'll more than make up for this in the morning, I'll do things—”
