“Send me a picture.” There’s silence from the other end. As I walk to the bathroom to clean myself up, I look at my phone and see the sexiest woman in the world—her eyes full of satisfaction, a smile that I can’t wait to see, and a face that I can’t wait to kiss. “You look beautiful, shorty," I say, getting back in bed.

“Trey, please delete the videos, I—”

“They're deleted. I promise to never embarrass you. You're my girl, and I protect what’s mine.”

“I can’t wait to see you Friday night,” she says, her voice still a little low.

I smile, knowing I’m seeing her tomorrow night. “I think my cock can’t wait either. Get some sleep, shorty. Talk to you in the morning.”

“Good night, Trey.”

“Good night, shorty.”

Chapter 7

Sky

I dragged Calvin and Finn shopping with me because I needed help on what to wear when I meet Trey's coach. I have a feeling that he gets a bigger say in me than anyone else, and I want to make a good impression on him. Everything I picked, Finn said no to. After thirty minutes, I sat down and told them to pick something out for me. I made it very clear that it has to make me look good, so nothing too slutty.

“Got you something, that’ll show off your sexy body—”

"I don't want him to sleep with me, I want him to like me," I cut Finn off. Why do all men think the sexier you dress, the more impact it will make? Well, that’s not happening. I want them to like me for me; not for my body.

"I promise, this is perfect.” Calvin plays his hands on his hips. “Gets big player hot, but still perfect for impressing the coach.”

"Can I see it then?” I ask, trying to get the bag off him. "Come on, guys."

"You know the nervous look doesn't suit you, but I have to say the morning afterglow does,” Calvin says. Raising my eyebrows at him, I wonder what he’s talking about. "Trey isn't here, so I'm going to ask, did someone get down and dirty on the phone last night?”

“Shut up, and—”

"You did—you’re blushing," Finn adds, and now I hate them both.

“Can I have the dress, please?”

“Oh my God, you really are blushing.” Calvin wraps his arm over my shoulder as he leads me out of the store. “The real thing is going to have you seeing stars,” he says, handing me the bag, so I can pull out my dress.

Stopping by the bench, I pull out the baby-blue dress. Oh, they did well. "Thanks, guys, this is lovely."

"We know what we're doing. Wear some cute wedges with it.” Calvin stops when my brows narrow. "You haven't brought any, have you?" he asks me.

"I brought flats, trainers and a pair of heels for when we go out. Now, I didn't know that I had to go there until I told you," I tell him. If I knew, I would’ve brought every dress that I own with me to see which one to wear, but I can't.

“I do love a reason to shop.” Finn gives me a wink as he and Calvin start walking away from me.

I didn’t tell Calvin about last night; he’d ask questions that I'm not willing to answer. But, he’s right. When Trey and I finally do get in bed together, I'll see stars—I’ll see a lot more than the stars. If he can make me feel like that with just his words, I know he can do so much more with just his hands.

Walking behind them, I check my phone. Trey sent me a message this morning to let me know that he was going to be in training for most of the day, and he'll call me when he gets home. I'm looking forward to the two coming weeks so we can really spend time with each other. I’ll finally get to see how this would work for us.

“Did you start watching some basketball games?”Calvin asks.

"No, I will today.” I know nothing about Trey's sport, so I thought I’d watch a few games, read the odd book, just so I know what I'm talking about if I have to speak to anyone. Plus, I bet all the other players' girlfriends or wives know what they're talking about, or when to cheer and when not to.

"Well, we watched a game last night, and I had no idea what was happening—it all happens so fast." Calvin stops as Finn starts laughing. "What's so funny?"

“You said it was all fast. I just hope he's not that fast in bed.” Finn and Calvin both start laughing, and I shake my head.

I slap them both playfully on the chest. “Back to the game.”
