“Brother. Calm down and let the man speak.” Cameron puts a heavy hand on my shoulder. I fight not to shake him off and knock him into next Tuesday. He means well, but he can’t understand what it’s like to have a predator like the Pakhan of the West Coast speaking about someone he loves.

Cameron’s my brother. He’d die for me as I’d die for him. But he’s too busy engineering things to suit his wants to fall for anyone the way Jax and I have. To experience the absolute devotion love demands.

“Hear him out,” Shaw commands.

“Yes, please do,” Anatoly drily chimes in.

“Fine. Speak. Please,” I grumble. I’m nearly positive nothing he can offer will make up for bringing a man into Grey and Blu’s home, who had known of their captivity and found it entertaining.

“In clearing out Vasily’s rooms, my men have found…” His pause bodes poorly for my ability to rein in my temper. “Some records that indicate how Huber came to be in… possession of?—”

“Spit it out!” I should speak more respectfully to the man. I’m pretty sure if Jax hadn’t saved the Pakhan’s beloved daughter and we weren’t currently offering her refuge, my tone would land me in a body bag.

“We have located information on the auction where Huber encountered your young woman. And from there, worked backward to find the male who originally trafficked her.”

Shock detonates so fiercely in my brain it takes a few moments for the ringing to silence. I belatedly realize the discussion has continued around me, with plans being made. Justice, for Blu, offered as a gift from a man more suited than any of us for doling out the level of painful retribution owed to her trafficker.

“Wait!” The word explodes from me.

The room goes quiet, and I hear Anatoly’s measured breathing through the phone.

“Nobody touches that fucker. That blood is mine to spill.” I can’t let Anatoly be the one to kill the asshole who sold Blu into the hands of monsters. It has to be me.

“Fine, brother. But we do this smart. We get all the information we can before you get to end him. No more of this blowing holes in shitheads before we get to interrogate them. Yes?” Cameron’s confidence settles me. I can trust him.

“Fine. Plan it, and I’ll be there. Right now, I have somewhere to be and two someones to be with.” I’ve already been away from Blu and Grey longer than I like. They still have nightmares and both of them sleep better when I’m wrapped around them.

The bedroom’s empty when I get upstairs, but the soft light from the bathroom lets me know where I can find my duo. I lean against the doorjamb to enjoy the sight of Grey and Blu cuddled together under a giant mound of bubbles in the tub.

“What’s going on here? I thought I put you both to bed hours ago?” I ask.

“I was afraid I’d have an accident since you weren’t with me. Grey suggested a bath, so we could keep awake while we waited for you,” Blu confides. It’s taken weeks for her to let go of the embarrassment she feels anytime she wets the bed.

Much as I dislike allowing anyone into our inner circle, Doc Charm’s been giving good advice on how to help her work through the issue. He’s pushing me to get both of them into therapy and promising to find someone who is trustworthy when it comes to circumstances like ours.

It’ll be a lengthy healing process. For now, the best medicine seems to be Blu feeling herself cocooned in the bed with both me and Grey. That and a waterproof mattress pad.

“Are you ready for bed now that I’m here? You need your sleep, Jellybean.” As though my questions magically made him sleepy, Grey yawns so big his jaw looks unhinged. It makes Blu giggle, and my heart swells with the simple joy they bring me.

“Yes. I’m tired. Superhero, dry me off? Pretty please?” Grey stands in tub, water and bubbles sluicing down his lithe body. I can’t help watching the way his slender cock strains upward, the tiny curve at the end pointing to the side almost as if it wants to reach for Blu as she rises next to him.

“Of course, Peanut. Step out carefully and then help Blu out. I’ll grab the towels for you both.” One of the first things I ordered for them was an enormous towel warmer, so I could pamper them at bath time. Grey especially loves it when I wrap him in a plush bath sheet and rub him dry.

I cherish these moments the most. Growing up rough with the guys in the group home, serving in the military, doing fucked up shit for the government to buy favors to protect the club. It’s all worth it for this exact moment right here. Blu and Grey in my arms, loving me nearly as fiercely as I love them.

I dry them off, fighting the distraction of their bodies the whole time, and lead them to the bed. Together, we cuddle up and touch each other. Not just to get off but because our devotion demands no less.

“Love you, Superhero. Love you, Blu,” Grey whispers as he drifts off to sleep much later.

“My Konnie. My Grey,” Blu sleepily adds.

I don’t say anything. They’re already asleep. They hear it from me all day every day, anyway. Because I am theirs in every way that will ever matter.
