“We both know you don’t.”
“Where are we going?” I turn to look at Zin and wink.
“The carnival.” Her eyes light up before she takes off up the stairs.
“What’s wrong?” Cade asks.
“Stopped by Kev’s and there’s no sign of him. There was some blood on the floor, but not enough for concern.” Stone lights up his J, before passing it over to Atti.
“Where the fuck is he? We need to find him, and fast.” Cade slams his fist down on the table as we all nod.
“Let’s get to work.” Zin says, standing up and heading up the stairs.
“Har. Keep your eyes open while you’re out.” I nod at Cade. “Carnival, huh.”
I just smirk as I head up the stairs.
It’s twin time.
Walking into my bedroom, I smell cherry blossoms.
What the fuck.
I hear footsteps outside my door, turning around I see Zin standing there.
“You smell that too?” Zin asks.
I nod. “What the fuck, man.”
“I know. Someone is fucking with us,” He says before walking away.
I got a date to get ready for, but I’ll let the guys know before we head out.
It’s packed tonight, but that’s a good thing. Means we can blend in more. I have my arm around my girl, and Zin is holding her hand. We’ve been here for three hours, riding every ride and showing her the best time.
“Want to ride more, Little Light,” Zin questions.
“No, I’m starving. Can we get Shelia’s?” We lock eyes, before laughing.
“You can have anything you want, little harlot.” Kissing her.
“Anything, huh?” She looks between us, and I know she’s up to something.
Looking over at my brother, I can see he is thinking the same thing.
“What do you want, Little Light?” My brother asks our girl.
“I’ll let you know, but right now, food.” We all laugh, heading out of the carnival.
Just before we reach the gate, something catches my eye. When I look closer, I catch a glimpse of blond hair and blue eyes.
Is that? It can’t be.
Rushing towards the girl, but when I reach the spot, she’s gone.
“You good, bro?” Looking over at them, I nod.
I could have sworn it was her.
